Dear Antweezy, your question depends on where you see yourself working in the future. A doctoral program is focused on research and directed to the academy. If you want to become a researcher or a teacher, this is more appropriate. However, if you want to become a clinician, I think a PsyD can be a good option. Ultimately, it all depends on you.

Usually, the clinical neuropsychologist focuses on the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with neurocognitive disabilities, with dysfunctional impacts on daily life. The work of the clinical psychologist is more focused on individuals with psychopathological disorders, such as anxiety, depression and / or personality disorders. I am a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, as I have two different master's degrees, one in clinical and health psychology and the other in applied neuropsychology.
