They're both alive! I said it right! Thy fly and thy tree.. Seems like I'm not crazy yet after all. If I was there to give an answer though, I'd probably not give it.. the fear of embarassment and saying something stupid I suppose. Great presentation, I thoroughly enjoyed it and it made me understand a few things better. It made me understand why it is neuropsichology and what's it for, which is the purpose of this presentation after all. Also good little history lessons over-all and nice, interesting stories. The relationship between the brain and the human behaviour it is then: neuropsichology. Good job on the well-done presentation.

    Hello,
I suffer from this issues due to the fact that it runs on my genes! You asked a question asking “what can or should the teachers do to accommodate to a student like my self?”
    The answer is:
    *please speak a little slower
*Allow me to learn all 5 ways!
(Smelling it, seeing it, hearing it, feeling it, writing it down and perform so it can stay and I can remember.) It also helps to reduce irritation and anxiety.
So if I were a Neuroscientist I would develop a new theory on teaching! With that being said,
accommodating to everyone not just the student like my self!
Plus this will also allow students in general to pass test with A B at the lowest!
Implementing a new law of 2018!

Nice I think Im going to take a Neuropsychology course next maybe at NIH for UMUC this was great. JBP ties some other things together along with it to add some spirit to the science but this is what I need to begin with thank you Dr Rogers.

I was wondering if I could pursue a career that combines neuropsychology with psychopathology? I am interested in the etiology and neuroscience of mental disorders like depression but as the video suggests, like other ones I watched, Neuropsychology is mostly concerned with neurological diseases, cognitive abilities, brain injuries etc, but not mental disorders?

Neuroscience of mental disorders are taught in regular clinical psychology programs. Also, there's clinical neuropsychology, which is probably what you seek.
Or just be psychiatrist, who is an ultimate expert in mental disorders.

Really? I watched a similar presentation by Dr Octavio Choi and there was actual laughter during his presesntation. This guy was good, but saying there was 'humor' here makes me think perhaps you meant to post this comment for the wrong vid. th-cam.com/video/SvBfAqk70LU/w-d-xo.html

My experience with neuropsychologist is a referral to this specialist bye insurance after being hit by a city bus.
Beware people! I was hit by a bus going 20 to 30 km an hour to Rowen 10 feet, landed on my head, nine staples to the back of the skull and according to the neuropsychologist I have psychiatric problems and psychological problems but no brain injury.
If you see one psychologist and then your labelled mental health issue. Neuropsychologist cannot detect bring injuries especially when they're working for insurance and making sure that they don't detect it. Corrupt useless specialists.
