Roof works and painting. Never a dull day when you live in the house you're renovating.

The bedroom gets a much needed coat of paint, and the exposed bricks on the chimney stack receive two coats of cement render, and a few tiles are replaced. We are now set for winter :)

Hi Eamonn, yes it's really easy. Plenty of shops around. We've been able to get everything we need without an issue, from the big department stores to the smaller independent stores.

You guys are cracking on with stuff,well done. I was so surprised to see you on the roof. Did you crack any tiles while walking on them ? I could do with checking mine out and my chimney definitely needs the loving treatment you’ve given yours. That room looks so much better after one coat too 👍

Thanks Paul ☺️. Most of the tiles changed were broken by cowboy builders masquerading as roofers who did some work on our roof. But we live and learn. Although we must admit, TJ put his foot through one tile, then he changed another tile and then put his foot through the changed tile and had to change it a second time 😁 Once you realise where to stand on the supporting beams and batons then you should be ok. Hope you manage to sort your roof out too. 👍

Yes sure we can do, I just need to upload a couple of others so they stay in order. In fact we just bought 200 metres of string to mark out the boundary at the top and side of the garden to that will be perfect for showing the views back there. Thanks for watching and wishing you a great day 👍
