If they interview Johnson, the first question should be if he can bring somebody from Detroit to be the GM. They have done very well drafting in recent years.
I want Ben Johnson as HC/ offensive coordinator and the best defensive coordinator we can get. They can keep wolf but Ben has to have input on player selection for offense and free agency. I don't want anyone from the BB coaching tree. I want to see a change in the entire philosophy of the game. I want a offensive minded HC that has the ability to run the offense while handling HC responsibility. Kraft would be happy not having to hire a OC and Johnson could do what he does best.
Imagine Kraft gets Vrabel for HC and Johnson as OC 😂😂😂 that shit would be bananas! ( I know I’m dreaming hard ) Johnson would be great but he haven’t seen him coach a whole team. Offense would be great, but we can’t say about the defense
But I do believe that Robert craft will be hesitant to hire a former player that he cares for just like he did Mayo and look how that turned out so if Ben Johnson interviews with New England this week, I would hire him first me personally, but I think Rabel is the better fit. It’s just my opinion. Weather has a lot to do with it. Ben Johnson can run that same offense 17 weeks in Detroit at a dome you have to play our coaches in December in January in Gillette Stadium. Ray ‘s defenses are elite if he gets a awesome offensive coordinator we’ve never seen him have a player like Drake May and I think players wanna play for volleyball specially in the trenches.
I don't understand NFL thinking on assistant coaches. Ben Johnson helps make Detroit a very dangerous team. Why would you let him leave the building? Give him a $10mil raise, it's irrelevant. Or more than anyone would pay him as head coach. He raises the value of the franchise by much more than that. And his impact on winning is way more than a single $10mil player.
Bc he wants to be a HC ,no coach wants to stay a coordinator their whole career. Thats like staying an assistant manager at your job and not accepting an interview for manager
The defense is a disaster . The offense was very improved. A few more offensive pieces like on OL and WR with Josh would work. The biggest problem is the disaster is that defense and that’s why I want vrabel. Defensive mindset
@ meaning drake maye yes! The line still sucks but can be improved through draft and free agents, I believe boutte, and pop are improved and pick up a real number 1. The offense was definately better , scores more points but we couldn’t stop anyone. You forget how bad the offense was with cam and the last two years of Mac jones. It’s no barn burner and still in bottom 5 but is closer to becoming competitive than that abhorrent horrendous defense where they are slow, lack physicallity , can’t tackle, can’t rush the passer and the worst line backers in the league. Add to o line , get a wide receiver and overhaul that defense with vrabel at the top. Just my opinion
Let's put in to prospective that Jerod Mayo wasn't dealt with a very good hand. If Kraft knew that, why put in as a head coach in the first place? That's another conversation for a different day. I highly respect Mike Vrabel as the next head coach, but I'm leaning towards Ben Johnson as the new head coach and here's why. We can all respectfully disagree and agree with this one. Just think about that for a second. He's an awesome offensive minded genius to pair with Drake Maye, that chemistry ⚗️ would be an awesome magic 🎩 on the offensive side.If you really wanted to stick it to the Jets, than hire Robert Saleh as a defensive coordinator. He knows defensive very well would get the best out of defensive, especially with the growth of Christian Gonzales at cornerback who wouldn't want to coach that? Just focus on building around the offensive side of Drake Maye in free agency and draft, then tweak up the defense a little bit. You have something there, then overall grow as a team that can compete in the future. I wouldn't be mad if we hired Vrabel, but it's time to look outside of the box for a change and go elsewhere and Ben Johnson would be mine choice. #PatriosCoachingSearch
Ben Johnson is a great offensive guy. I think he will be a Josh McDaniel he is not ready. The Lions have tons of talent best RB in NFL top five Recievers. A great O Line. A coach that is great at discipline. He is not ready.
so Mike Veabel is the ONLY answer then?. Patriots are in position to be "picky". what pats need to at least try and do is find a brand new post brady/belichick era identity. Give Ben Johnson a shot at this. just like mcdaniels at least got a shot, ben johnson deserves one also
Ben Johnson could cook in New England.. 22 year old stud qb, 4th overall pick and the most cap space in the NFL. He would be crazy not to consider it.
If they interview Johnson, the first question should be if he can bring somebody from Detroit to be the GM. They have done very well drafting in recent years.
@ivaylopetkov6707 Ray Agnew, the assistant GM for detroit.
Ben Johnson is the guy... Vrabel stinks.
WE WANT YOU, BEN!
BECOME THE LEADER OF SOMETHING SPECIAL!
BEN AND MAYE ARE THE YOUNG GUNS WHO WILL CHANGE THE LEAGUE!

Bro looks exactly like Nacho from Better Call Saul.
Man we went from the worst situation in football to a reallly really good position in football in 24 hours
I want Ben Johnson
I’ll take Ben Johnson for his ceiling over Vrabel for his moderate success and experience.
Ben Johnson. You want to wake up Pats Nation?? Hire an offensive guru. We’ve never had one running this show. Not in my life time anyway.
@@elizabeth9674 great offense with a defense that can’t stop anyone won’t fix this mess
vrabel with mcdaniels
Kraft wont take rookie coach for his 1st yr he wants vrabel and im fine with that.
Ben
I agree, I want Ben Johnson here to pair with Drake Maye!!!!
Tony Dungy said it last night - get Brian Flores and have him bring Josh McCown with him.
Absolutely not he tried to destroy Tua
who gives AF what Dungy says

Johnson would be great but he haven’t seen him coach a whole team. Offense would be great, but we can’t say about the defense
Yes.that would be great for a year till Ben took a head coach elsewhere.

Johnson as the new HC could be electric...just a small part of me has pause... he has zero experience as a Head Coach does scare me a little.

offense approved how? Besides Drake Maye we sucked. Worst line and passing attack. Rushing mid AF

Is vrabel the right coach
Vrabel is an established head coach, he's the guy

Kevin poles i think he means Ryan poles 😂.
I like Mike ... and it may give us a chance to get AJ Brown
Vrable is the pick. Johnson would be a first-year head coach, not again so soon!
