Simply awesome! Love me some Loretta Lynn! Heck, I’m a black woman from Atlanta, but every time I hear Loretta sing my favorite song Coal Miner’s Daughter, I feel like I’m a coal miner’s daughter. She deserved every award she received. RIP Loretta! ❤❤❤

Oh, wow, Clara Webb, their mother, presented Loretta with this award! How proud she must have felt that her daughter was artist of the decade!

She held up better than I would if my beautiful momma brought me an award I would be crying so proud they let her do that.😅

If she wouldn't have ever married Doolittle we probably wouldn't have ever been blessed with her voice, Dolly. lol

This is from 1979 or 1980--- not 1989--- Loretta's mother died in 1981.
