In the middle of the chaos in our lives, this passage brings us hope understanding what is happening around us is a consequence of the brokenness of this world (living away from God), and something good God will bring out of every situation. I will prosper in all things as my soul prosper walking everyday holding Jesus's hand. Thank you for the lesson.
So good! This was the first verse I ever memorized one of my very favorite. But a while back I heard a sermon on it that said basically what you said he reminded us that God told them to pray for the place they were and to live their lives well. And in the midst of it all remember that that they could trust that God knew what he was doing and had Shalom for them if they would stick close to him
As a Messianic Jew, this is done well. I Israel's example is a blessing to the world. Just remember from Romans 11:15 NET [15] "For if their [Israel's] rejection [of Jesus as Messiah] is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?" The key has always Been Israel
Hi! I'm new here. I love the breakdown, thank you. This verse has always been a staple for me as I find myself clinging to it when going through darker times in spiritual growth. It reminds me that regardless of what things look like, God cares enough about me to have my back even though I may not understand what or why I'm going through. It literally gives me hope that God's heart is for me when my situation or thoughts may be trying to tell me otherwise. New sub!!!

He said that he would deliver us in Psalm 34 but he didn't say when and he didn't say how he would do it
what translation are you using? kjv is quite different
We're using the NIV. Yes, the KJV is more of a word for word translation while the NIV is more of a thought for thought translation.
Wow, with that dark background, you look like a Bond villain.... But then I almost played a Bond villain too!
He needs to hold a long haired white cat to be the perfect bond villian.
Lets goooooo
4:42 if you want to get straight to the point...
