KEEP THIS IN YOUR MIND....most kids don't even go out for PE anymore in school. Now look at 0:55 ! The GIRL is rolling a LOG...she is my hero for the day in REALITY. Don't forget to thank your DAD with a hug. You're blessed 110% for what he has built for you.....he is 120% blessed because you see it and are not wasting it. Your family is a rare gem....like a pearl

I don't know where you find some of this music Emerald but the music you used on this video was well suited for what you did with it. I don't know when you sleep as some youtubers talk about how many hours of editing they have to do for a video that isn't even all that long.

I can see that normally your lumber is sold in set dimensions. With pieces like the one that had shake which caused a 2-3 foot split, could you just chop off a few feet with a chop saw and make it shorter, like 8 foot instead of 10 or 12 feet long? Or maybe the 4 - 6 inch wide off cut piece, just chop off the split part and have a shorter and narrow piece? Less waste that way.
Maybe have a separate pile on the lot for "discounted - odd dimension lumber" that walk-in customers can pick through for those odd pieces that they may just need a smaller piece of wood for? Maybe the extra labour isn't worth it, but just thinking that you might get more for it than selling as kindling or scrap wood.

Em, instead of getting the paper pad out where it can get wet and damaged buy a sheet of styrene plastic and copy the days work on to it. You can write on it with pencil. It's waterproof. We used to use them as note boards when we were out diving. Costs a few $ on Amazon.

I spotted the bark cutter beacon was running; does this mean that the cutter is repaired? I could not tell in the film if it was or not?
A good clean start to the order. Will you be changing that dull blade soon? Yes, I enjoyed the video about blunt blades. If you are, would you do a whole video on the process? With close-ups. You've only shown a wide angle before.

So are these being cut with the saw blades that your grandfather sharpened? Also curious as to if there is much shrinkage as the milled lumber dry's out. What protection does the yard have if the customer comes back and complains the the dimensions are off as a result of the lumber drying out.
