Always remember, white oak bows quickly. You have to turn the cant after every cut to get consistent board thicknesses. Even after that you might get one thick and thin. A lot of stress in the log.
No matter what you girls hang on to your positive attitudes. Keep on making the best of everything and I will keep on enjoying your videos. I noticed Jade carving in her spare time 😊.

Very nice refreshing video, sorry about the miserable spring weather. How yucky it was to work today was so very readable on Jade's face as she stacked the pieces. Emerald your hair was vibrant regardless of the weather, liked the sneaky shot of Ken, the rain coming off the roof and the mini floods. A very very nice video I thank you for including us.

Another great video this time with Jade on the mill and I presume Emerald on camera. I like these videos because in a complex world with so much divisiveness it's just nice to watch people doing something that seems peaceful to me. Thanks for that, and the cut lumber looks amazing in the rain like it's been polished. Here's hoping for better weather soon🙂 🌻🌻

Nice work but do yourself a favor put a gutter on your shed roof you will stay a little bit drier
They can't all be sunshine and lollipops, but one thing I do know is that it sure as hell beats working in an office cubicle all day long. After the long, hot, dry summer last year some moisture sure is a blessing. Take care and God bless!👊🏼🇺🇸

That's discipline and a good work ethic to work out in the weather you all do. You know you have a job to do and you just do it. Impressive. I was also surprised to see Jade carving my saying that I put at the end of most of my comments, onto the post by the mill. Looks like your area is shrouded in clouds. On the other hand, the dust does not fly in the nose and eyes. Be careful Jade, LT40 is not a gentleman at all, he can push a human and he will not be ashamed.

That 'nudge' will leave a mark! Put a small tarp or piece of 6 mil plastic on the bed and sides of the Kubota before loading sawdust. Dump everything, Repeat. Raincoats?

Something to think about. If you put a gutter along the roof eve by your mill and add a downsoput on the end next to the highway you could collect the rain watter. The barrel could be open topped as the water will spill over and go to where it was headed before the gutter. The rainwater is the BEST thing for indoor plants. I know that you have an indoor garden and the rainwater doesn:t have any added chemicals in it. Your plants will Love it. 😎😎
jade tried to shoulder the lt40, and lost.
Just a suggestion Girls. Why on Earth don't you get the Boss to build the Skillion roof further out, say to 30 feet. That way you'll be out of the rain and Jade won't be dodging around those posts all the time as well. WHS laws here in Australia wouldn't allow us to work under conditions such as this. Not sure what it's like in the U.S. 🦘
you should have a retractable roof when it rains that goes out 3-4 meters your roof at LT40

Saw your video about netting.... I know a young man right out of high school who this last year cut a few miles of wood, split it and stock piled it, he has no idea about the netting.. where can i find the netting ? this can be a real game changer for him and his endeavor.

Try putting a large piece of plastic in and over the sides of the dump bed. The wet sawdust will slip right of the bed with a lot less clean out
