Omg, Eric Faulkner was the love of my life as a teen, he's still amazing. I had a pic of him on the inside of my wardrobe mirror, when we cleared my parents house after they had passed away, that pic was still there, as fresh as the day I put it there 40 years before.

I was 8/9 years old back in 74/75 .. Absolutely crazy and in love with the Rollers ! Posters covered my bedroom walls and at 57 years now every weekend if I’m home I have a few glasses of wine and play the rollers on TH-cam , takes me back to the happiest memories in my life ❤ Thank you Eric for this lovely tribute to dear Alan , yes the lassies screamed ! Well the rollers came to Sheffield (My city) but I was too small to go my parents said and I was heartbroken 💔 I’ve loved lots of bands as I grew up , but never felt the same excitement , heart racing feeling that I did for the rollers , Eric made my nine year old heart race with his baby blues and his cheeky smile , thank you for the music and great memories ❤ rest in peace to the rollers who are no longer with us ❤️

He's one of the reasons I started playing guitar...🎸 I wish I could have been at this event--I'm an old woman now also and I still would've been screaming my head off just like when I was a teenager in the 70's.

I am so glad to have found this! I have often wondered what Eric's relationship with Alan was like and this shows he admired him greatly. Alan's autobiography reveals the respect was mutual. Eric interacts warmly with his fans here --- His sense of humour makes me smile and I love to watch him playing the guitar. I do so hope that one day he will write his version of the Rollers' years. Alan's smiling eyes and Eric's wonderful blue eyes (not to forget their guitar playing!) are unparalleled in rock history. Thanks so much to BCR Fan Events for this. Regards, Jo.
eric HAS written a book : An Edinburgh Lad. From childhood until the BCR make it. There are no plans for him writing another covering those chaotic and amazing years, presently.

I had the privilege of attending every concert here in South Africa at the Colosseum in Johannesburg, I adored BCR and still have a massive scrap book full of them, missed lead singer Les but Duncan did okay
Eric was so much my crush when I was a youngie in NZ that I have just realised I married a man that was his doppelganger (don't tell him!). We are separated now but still love how he looks LOL.

Why did Eric never sing in the bay city rollers. That is the first time I ever heard him sing. He is very good. Brilliant song to.
