Freddie Mercury was an adult before he was an adult being that far away from his family for that long that's why he's the greatest thing that was ever on this Earth
He never really talked about his childhood or his relationship with his father. He must have been very lonely at boarding school being away from his family. He only saw them once between the age of 8 and 14. No phone video in those days. According to Mary he suffered from Separation Anxiety as a result of being sent away from his family.
I felt bad for Fred being sent away as young as that . Still needs mothers ,parents love and affection and bonding with family .his sister cousins and friends . But the parents wanted him to get a better education and they sacrificed especially financially , pretty sure it’s expensive to go to boarding school tho they’ll miss him . Much . So sad for him. But he learns a lot there but he was deprived of the parents love and affection. And he missed his sister very much . But he is more attached to his mum. Well we don’t know how close he was to his dad. But if not for that decision he is not Freddie Mercury . It’s his fate and his destiny to be a legendary musician of all time . And that something we have to respect becoz we never heard anything about how closed he was with his family at the peak of his career . Or we just don’t know.. and until his death I didn’t read anything that his family were there when he died only his friend and Mary . Financially he did gave them whatever best for them . They are still in his heart , deep inside . Perhaps there something he missed about his family but he is human to have mistakes in life which I could relate to a couple of his songs when he is dying . It’s always the end where you realized the mistakes we did and regrets but somehow it makes you a better person . At the end he is brave enough to face the reality of his death . Happy Birthday Freddie all your followers missed you . RIP.
6:11-6:31 - how appropriate... all those sheep...marching right behind the principal of a missionary school in India. Freddie did right by failing that 10th grade exam.
3:07 "he arrives in Bombay, the Northeast Indian port that his Parses ancestors helped build". Please, do not try to exalt Mercury more than he already was; nowhere in this Wikipedia article says that Mumbai (Bombay) was built even in part by Parses: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mumbai
He obviously came from an abusive family (then people wonder why some kids are born the way they are born...); sending him in a boat to another country ALONE, that is an outright form of child abuse.
Gabriel 2018 a lot Of wealthy people send their children to boarding schools , it’s not abuse,, they did it to better his education, born the way they are ,,what does that have to do with boarding school
@@kham6006 Apparently you also have an abusive attitude and you would send an 8-year-old on a trip alone. Does that last word not say anything to you? a l o n e ? ?
Gabriel 2018 times where different back then , they did it to better his education, I don’t see how that’s abusive ,,many kids go alone to boarding school , sleep away camp etc ,,, so what are you saying with the comment ,wonder why some people are born the way they are born. Sounds a bit ignorant and you obviously don’t know much about the world ,,
@@kham6006 I do know enough about moral principals, and you DON'T do that to a child (you keep saying "to a school", as if that would justify the trip going alone). You are an outright abuser.
Hey asshole, I went to boarding school in India when I was 10, as did my brother. No one abused us. Asian families are usually not abusive in the Western sense; unless steeped in poverty or having mentally ill parents. Besides many in the European world send their kids to boarding school without abusing kids. Where did you get this equation boarding school=abusive family??
There are voices that we never get tired of hearing such as Freddie 's voice.
