Hello Karen, Wishing you all the best for this year and beyond. You are of strong character, you had a lot to deal with last year and you bounced back . Am glad you can see the bigger picture of your yard its going to look great, more space and lighter too. Hsve you thought about selling the logs to people who've got woodburners? We've finally got our arena finished thanks to my Dad he's got a construction company and was shocked when we showed him the quotes from 3 arena laying specialists who quoted us in the high six figures. He did some research and thinks that equestrians are being overpriced and ripped off , so it's all done 3 layers and a top surface of black silica fiber mix with shredded rubber . We are so pleased with it.... Our plans for this year are getting the 4 jumpers out to shows, continuing bringing on Roo he's coming on nicely no rush. Buying a youngster to bring on a sell on , and to do a bit if teaching as we've both got our stage 4 and as you said horses cost a lot to keep going.... Happy new year! Sorry the year needed with such a big project to deal with coming into the new year, day by day you will get it sorted! I know how aweful and time consuming and can be to recover from something like that. About 5yrs ago we had a HUGE wind storm and it litterally picked up my horse double stall shelter and filpped it upside down into our garden! Luckily none of my horses were injured and my neighbour from the farm up the road brought his large tractor and was able to flip it back over for us, this was all 2 weeks before my boyfriend had a hip replacement surgery coming up and he was out there with me cleaning it all up and making the fences safe again. Best of luck getting it all sorted and good luck with those trees!

I love that you are organized with your finances, maybe one of your videos this year could be a little insight into that and how you plan and budget, I’ve never been able to do that as I wouldn’t know where to start, I’m always just seem to be catching up!
I want to get my tack /feed room cleaned and painted and my stall(stable)painted and the wooden box outside his stall painted and to get more sand on his paddock and to work on my boy's fitness ❤😊😊😊

Yes I definitely need to look at it as a fresh start, all this chaos now will make everything better in the long run Yes we do but some of it still needs fencing 😩 due to the wet summer a patch of fenceline never dried out enough to get the posts in x
Lots happening around the yard. Definitely making progress👏👏👏 do you use wood 🪵 for wood stove🧐 how my boys stayed in shape for football (US).. no gym membership just split wood workout.
Yes so much going on at the yard at the moment, it will make it so much better in the end, No sadly I don’t have a wood stove, but the boys are doing a very good job of splitting it all up and selling it, Haha yep no gym membership here 😂 everyone just keeps fit doing stuff at the yard x
