The first time we experienced the power of ranged trash on the first Mercantile event, we had no bubble, and 2...stealth zealots. We ended up getting slapped so hard that my ass hurts even know. It took us few stubborn tries on our usual builds before we have decided that maybe Havoc actually requires some build synergies and tactics. I'm still not a fan of range unit buff stacking, but we can live with it, for now.
Ive had a horrible time in havoc playing with randoms. Last run we had corruption on the ground and no zealot to cleanse it and it was basically a loss before the map even started. Im stuck in the 20’s just trying to climb. Lots of players with unoptimized random builds treating havoc like its malice.
@infrared6973 have you considered trying to play with people from the official discord? Still a mixed bag but at least they are more willing to play the correct builds. I hang around the psyker channel mostly and would play with if time allowed. 😊
whats the point of deimos when u are using a surge staff? you've already got target damage, why not choosing some movility or horde cleaning melee? Maybe u just like deimos but I am curious about it, ty!
@@AgentChaosMeme ahh gotcha I saw a couple balls at some point that looked extremely fast, but yeah saw in your gameplay you were spamming that charge attack. It's a cool build, will need to try it! I like the staff, just wish that the primary could just be held down to spam instead of getting carpal tunnel.
@Shajirr_ yes I understand that is how the talent function and no it's not useless at all. With the amount of creeping flames spam I am doing especially
@@kk5612 keep in mind that if there are 4 or more enemies, only the 4 enemies will get only 1 stack per kill, and the rest of the enemies nearby get 0. So bringing enemies even to 4 stacks with Wildfire is unrealistic in most cases unless you're dealing with 1-3 enemies. And this is not all. You need some other source of soulblaze to increase the stacks first. If there are 4 enemies or more, and one dies, 4 enemies get 1 stack each, then another enemy dies and... no stacks will be transferred, as Wildfire can't transfer any stacks above what the dying enemy had, and he had 1. AND this is still not all! There is another hidden limit, that Wildfire will never create any stacks above 4. So even if the dying enemy had 8 stacks, while another enemy has 5, that another enemy will get absolutely nothing, with initial number of stacks exceeding Wildfire's transfer limit. This node is garbage.
@@Shajirr_ When you unleash Creeping Flames, you hit a large number of enemies who collectively spread out enough stacks to share. Once these enemies die, other enemies who have who were not initially hit by Creeping Flames will gain 4 stacks. If you hit them with another Shriek, a bunch of them will hit 10 stacks. Repeat.
I don't think you ever expect that in this game he will hit 640k/1.4m just from warpfire. So basically, the thing is that you never take this node on purgatus, but always take it if you are using some other source of warpfire + in fire reborn

lol good job and good strategy... Looks insane.
Not picking Empathic Evasion is kinda hardcore mode.
@MrLyramion we had 2 bubbles so it's quite safe
lol these mods literally remind me of mythic raiding in fucking WoW. Especially that “NET” shit.
0:22 ooo, which mod lets you do that?
@duck_thor3585 really good to adjust on the fly www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/216
looks like surge still keeps up at high havoc
people were saying purge is the only meta up there
@victorw.3151 it can certainly fill a 'dps' role but very squishy and need support
The first Rank 40 duo that was uploaded was by a playtester with Trauma Staff.
Slam staff is by far the best of them all

All the mods you got make it look like you're running a dungeon in an MMO lmao

Can 6 stacks of soulblaze still kill horde in Havoc?
@kk5612 I don't think so but there are so many elites you can spam a lot
What's that mod that shows pounce! or net! over the screen?
Spidey sense
what does Net!! meant?
@zidaneorangindonesia9675 from a mod. When a trapper shoot it gives word indicator in case the sound is lost in the chaos
might want to mention it also uses a macro :P
It's right click build. Not the left click macro balls spam build.

Why pick Wildfire? Its a trash node that only gives 4 stacks total per 1 kill, its completely useless and a waste of a skillpoint
@Shajirr_ yes I understand that is how the talent function and no it's not useless at all. With the amount of creeping flames spam I am doing especially
If you can make an enemy start at 4 dots and give them 6 more, you now have given them 10 dots. Not to mention the dots from elite kills.
