Thx for sharing this! When I was age 9 I was living in the Canadian arctic I would go on bicycle down to the local airstrip it was dirt surface aside the east branch of the Mackenzie River, one operator there had a beautiful orange/red Twin Bonanza with the Lycoming G0-435 260 HP engines two blade props I still have a photo of it taken 1972, 9 years later that man became my boss. The geared engines cost more money for overhaul and are not manufactured any longer, my Dad's Helio Courier also had that engine, factory reman cost in 1968 was $10'000 and they only got more expensive as time passed.
Cool airplanes, had one at our mechanic school with sweet 90s flames airbrushed in the cowling that had the GSIO 480s(?) and everyone’s favorite trivia about pressure carbs was you could fly upside down. We had an A&P instructor that flew these in the army then as a civilian before switching to the king air as turbines became the norm. Every time I use Bob Werkmeisters famous line “What happened? Ya fall down and get dirty or something?” I laugh and think of the ol guy. RIP Bob.
Great Flight & nailed the landing Awesome Bird you Have & while not an Pilot right seated a lot & wish I could Right seat one day ....Thanks for The Tag along you both ..
Aviation is amazing. I parked right across from this plane at Concord in October 3rd. I’ve got pictures of them loading it up for another supply run. I really wanted to talk to him about what kind of plane it was but they were busy getting ready to go.
I heard what sounded like radial engines flying over a few days ago, went to to better hear it and looked at FlightRadar and saw it was a T-Bone, great sounding aircraft.
Bobby......You hit the lottery with Emma as the new host. She is the perfect storm of a beautiful woman that the camera loves AND she knows her subject. This is my new fav channel. I'm now team Emma!
Checklists are DEFENITELY important. A LOT of folks have died in Barron 58s cuz Barrons require the Boost Pumps ON thru the entite takeoff and climb out. Most Twins only use Boost Pumps for starting but, a Barron will starve BOTH Engines for Fuel and shut down during Climbout if you dont leave them on
i have a cpl dozen hrs in buddies t bone a cpl decades ago..very stable and a load hauler...but no check lists..no clear call out in a crowded parking area...she's barely got a seat belt on?? Aero commanders don't have have weak spars..the spar caps on some models have dissimilar metal and fatigue issues requiring the AD work...on the flip side twin bonanzas have a 5 yr wing attachment bolt AD...magnesium control surfaces that are hard to come by....pressure carbs run about 3500 to 4k a pop to rebuild...about the same for engine gear boxes....all things to consider but anyone who buys one should know this going in ..if they do they'll totally dig owning and flying one
I love the sound of the T-Bone on takeoff....My business partner has one located at KEFD ( Ellington Field, Tx) . It is painted in the Army colors and has ports on top of the wing to load rockets to assist takeoff. Where is Emma located?
Cool plane. We had some US Army U-8s to work on in college. Girl, I HIGHLY recommend you never fly with ANYONE that doesn't use a checklist. Especially in a plane as complicated as that. It's easy to get distracted and leave out a step without a list to reference, especially in busy airspace. Really a cavalier, hotdogger habit. You're cool, hip, happenin' and all that, but we'd like to see you become old too.
I heard that it was forecast to Franklin engines, but when Preston Tucker bought the Franklin company to motorize his car, "first thing first," he immediately canceled the aviation contracts (Bellanca, Globe, etc.).
Tucker bought Franklin engines from NY. Then they proceed to close up with that whole incident. A great engine that would have been a great 3rd manufacturer to compete with the benefits of 50+yrs of R&D
@@fly-n-m9445 Too many light twins go down due to lack of experience. It’s great to have a second engine if one fails, but you get real busy real quickly when it happens. I didn’t get the impression he was fully prepared for such an event.
Glad to see the channel being active like this! Good job and nice review!
More to come!
Agreed this is great stuff
awesome Thank you all for your service in The Help & rescue operation ..those Folks needed all The help That could Fly or drive in
All the content you've posted from Reklaw so far has been outstanding.
I love the Fisher Price paint scheme. A great airplane.
What a brute of a Beech! Another great video Emma.
Thank you! 😃
Daddy of the Barron 58 😎
Great video Emma and good job Todd!

Emma, you and your content are rare jewels to be treasured. As a fellow aviation addict, thank you!!
Man, that field was a mess of aircraft and he handled it like a Pro.
Sweet landing and GoPro shots.
Well done all

Nice plane with lots of elbow space.

That beast is way complicated. Amazing plane.
Another good one Emma! Good tune
Another great video Emma…love the new thumbnail too!
Yay! Thank you!
Great video! I want to fly in the Tbone one day Todd!
I'm the last guy with capability to do the cabin heater. Its a very old system but we still manufacture and overhaul the cabin heater.
Thx Emma...nice flight in that legacy Beech.
👍✅ Great old plane Emma👏
another nice video THANKS
Great job thx
You bet
EMMA LOOKING GOOD ????

This is the same dude who got all pissed off because he got his spot taken and blew over the fire departments tent. Real classy

Where’s the footage of the fire department getting angrily prop blasted and tent destroyed?

Slam the throttles forward with any engine, let alone a geared engine??????
ifkr, saw that and was like what theeeee.....oh wait just look at the interior, he does not care at all lol.
I don't think I heard you shout CLEAR on either engine.
Especially at a busy event with lots of chaos going on. No checklists either.
@@whynot5045 didn't even look around to clear the field.
Excellent video. However... clean the windshield if is possible. My OCD is killing me. 😂
that lady distracted me so bad that I missed the starting procedure , jajajaja. grate vido saludos

Little fast on full power at take off aren't you?
Reklaw is a cluster and its just a matter of time.
Is he a Veteran????
Yes he is 💯
She was a good short field ship in the sixties on the north slope.,interior airways
I'm going to Galveston and open a tattoo shop
Very good for turning lots of 100LL into noise
Antique. Ultra Rare. Twin. Magnesium control surfaces. No pre-buy inspection. New pilot. Send it.
Tucker Bought Franklin.
👍🏼👍🏻❤️
this last time I was this early I had to pay child support!
🤣
😂😂😂
No way I’d get in a twin with a low time pilot. Especially one that didn’t seem to use checklists.
I will fly with my fellow veteran anytime
Then you’re better off to stay grounded my friend. 😊

Todd used his plane to help those impacted by the hurricane, and FEMA actively worked against those trying to help. Crazy.
That was painful to listen too!
