I am a music major. That dog had better pitch than most singers
this is the proof they do somehow. they have better hearing than us thus they should be able to differentiate the pitch better since they have a wider range of hz. now the the howling is on the key relevant to the piano and its quite in tune. all humans can predict the pentatonic scale without even ever have listen to it before why couldn't dogs as well? after all when they howl they howl in group mostly due to wolfs and they get the pitch from the alpha. his alpha is her owner
the best part was when everyone was chanting his name at the end and he was going crazy

True that, but what really gave me the chills was at the end when the dog went from keeping his vocals accurate with the melody, to singing the last 2-3 notes in harmony. I was already almost tearing up when I heard the first dozen seconds of him singing but it felt like the hairs on the back of my neck stood up when I heard him sing the harmony.
FINALLY, a singer without a sob story, and has REAL SKILL.

Oscar is now a trained therapy dog, and Pam brought him to my educational group’s meeting with him to talk about therapy dogs in classrooms. It was amazing to meet them today!

Have had two Goldie’s they are such sweet and loving dogs. Lost my Daisy girl almost two years ago at age 14. Oscar brought back happy memories. He’s beautiful.

He's on pitch and harmonizes. His pitch and rhythm is coordinated with the song, thus it's much more than howling.
