Just fish on windy days and find spots where the wind is blowing if you can. A small swimbait can always catch them, a ned rig on sunny days under docks

Fishing, like racing (has become) becoming a rich mans sport. I think some of the companies have caught on to that because the quality of "budget" rods and reels have become better recently. Tackle on the other hand...
It's not as bad as racing yet lol. Tournament fishing is really becoming a rich man's game. Hopefully with more people fishing, it will become more affordable.

Lol that dock is also a community hole too everyone knows where it's at. It's hard to get to from a kayak though. I've had people mad at me for posting me catching fish there
5.03lbs on the tournament scale. My scale is off. I weighed a 10lb weight it said 9lbs 9oz and my Rapala scale said 9.53. That Rapala scale cost me alot of money in the big bass tournament.
I know that you try to target largemouth but where I live in Bama the spots always out way largemouth that’s why I target spots 90% of the time. We have lakes full of herring. Those spots will setup in the middle of the ditches in the back of creeks usually the last deep water in the creek! Can catch the piss out of them on a shakin head.
Our Lake has some herring and alewives but more threadfin shad. The spots get really heavy in winter. Its funny you say that. That's exactly how people have been catching them here but with A rigs and jerkbaits. I'll try a shakey head
@@landonmoore76 I whacked them Sunday in the back of a creek in brush piles with A rig and damiki rig in about 35 foot of water but it was the last deep water before the creek shallowed up

Thanks it was a giant for me. I just needed 2 over 1.5lbs and I would have won or a 2lb. Yeah ask the largemouth seem to be skinny most of the time.

Good luck you'll need it at that lake. There's a good chance you can catch one over 5lbs there though. A 10.4lb was caught there a week ago

The hot hole is warmest water and has the most fish it's just crowded. Ramsey creek is warm and would be a good place to start

Its about 3ft deep there. All my fish on the squarebill come in under 4ft of water
