Haven't seen this reaction yet, but I would like to share one thing with Jaby. He had said that in his previous reaction that how women are always men's first priority and how men aren't. This is my experience and solely mine and people around me - men put a hell lot of effort to pursue a woman, which women don't. However, usually, once a woman gives in, women usually tend to make a man a super important centre of their lives, and in this very period men usually make a switch and stop priorotizing woman at all. For us women, it's not that we don't like to give back the attention, but we often find that once we give that attention and reciprocate, it tends to lead to a heartbreak. Men tend to pursue but not commit, which women are always scared of. I have seen this for myself, my cousins, friends, everyone. It took me almost 6 heartbreaks to find a man that is commited and consistent and we are very happy and it has been a while and I feel like the love grew with time, but for each of these 6, it was the same case - i like you but I can't commit.
P.S. so many comments getting so defensive and finding fault with me, lol. Jaby talks about his many girlfriends and his POV, and I am sharing mine. Yes, we date till we find the person and we always should - men or women. It doesn't matter how many times. Thank God for having that option in today's times instead of being in unhappy ones. And once you find that person, hold on to it, love hard, be matured and honest with each other, communicate, and have a happy time 😀💚

Bang on. Couldn't agree more. I have experienced this too. I had a guy who was trying to pursue me by buying gifts. He always tried to give chocolates or bouquets which I politely refused. I thought for a second will he do the same thing after 2 or 3 years of our relationship?
I don't think so which is perfectly fine. But women tend to build expectations by seeing these actions. Eventually men don't fulfill it leaving women dissatisfied.

Men are afraid to commit because they haven't been able to reconcile their feelings with the statistical odds of breakups which have grown to staggering amounts. Whether he pays attention to you afterwards is completely subjective to you and the guy. For e.g. find a dog-lover (cat-lovers after generally emotionally self-sufficient) and be a beacon of happiness in his life, he'll definitely pay attention to you (maybe even a bit too much for your liking.) As for the pursuit part, men have to pursue, otherwise they'll be single forever. It is not a promise/proof/measure of how attentive they'll be later, it is just a societal burden on men, they have to be the ones to pursue, constantly handle rejection until they don't and find success.
