Which cat did you delete, is it the one up closer to the motor or the other one down closer to the transmission also what happenes if you delete it vice versa
I have no cats and y pipe straight pipe it’s really loud but I’m wondering will 2 small cats and this setup still be loud but not as loud as a single with no cats. Also I’m considering no cats with mufflers it just still needs to be loud and clap just not crazy.

My truck is prob just as loud as Larry right now. I’ve got an 06 F-150 with the 5.4. I have 2.5 in. true duals with 2 tiny high flow cats coming out to 6 in. slash cut tips. The startup alone on this thing is absolutely insane! Unfortunately I, myself, have come to the realization that this thing is too loud to start up every day in a subdivision especially when I’ll be leaving early when school starts back...whenever that may be...anyway I purchased a dual in dual out flowmaster super 44. Hopefully that will quiet it down but still sound good.
I ran 33’s on my 02 4.6 with stock gears for the longest time, and it’s alright if you’re just cruising around... I now have 4.10 with 35’s and there’s not much a a difference with normal driving unless I’m hauling weight, then there is

My truck has no check engine light on all it’s a 97 with no stock cats just 2 high flow cats with stock o2 sensors
