At 3:50 you can see the walkway being abruptly cutoff because of the fire and at 4:11, you can see empty stilts that could've come from a burned down house
I'm disappointed you didn't get a chance to visit the Ulu Temburong National Park! A lot of tourists usually go for that place. A lot of people on youtube anyway. I still hope you had a good time in Brunei. Cheers
I used to live in Kamong Ayer but I moved away. It was fun and quite peaceful, the houses are very close which leads to everyone knowing each other... but it's quite dangerous though, if one house ever catches fire, chaos will happen and a lot of houses would end up burning, I was quite fortunate that didn't happen to me. But anyways, I loved the video, hope you can visit more places here next time!

Hmm...I believe I saw sewer pipes leading into the houses. Sinks seem to drain right into the water below, but I believe waste is shipped out to a sanitation plant somewhere, but I could be wrong.

Its all centralised sewer except rural areas. Im frm Brunei
The old traditional houses still direct flush to the river but plan is in consideration how to tackle the issues.
