that's a good one Charlie. I don't think many of us realize the simplicity and repetition of the fretboard simply b/c we're overwhelmed by all those strings and frets. We gaze at it as a mystery when we're young and see our heroes blazing through all those notes !!!@#@! - we get intimidated just wanting to be fast and loud we zoom right over the basics.
@@CharlieLongGuitar Hmm,... well I can't reel out 5 just like that but Andy Timmons had an interesting YT vid concerning arpeggios. Yeah and so does everyone else, right? You do as well, but Andy put these in a neat run through the middle of a killer lead. There was just this one lead unfortunately, and he kinda scimmed over it, a single example. But what if we had more? THAT'S the missing link - making it work in real playing life. I'll drop you more ideas as they occur to me...
@@CharlieLongGuitar I realize it's a very simple concept, one so simple it gets lost in the weeds. It just takes someone to step back and point it out.... So thanks again... Love your channel and your style.
Thx for the AAA+ classes

Edward thank you and glad you enjoyed it!!!
how do you like the carvin thats a joe walsh favorite
That Carvin has been my most played guitar for almost 10 years now. Super comfortable, looks good and sounds good!!
Thanks for the lesson, but there is soooo much distortion I can’t hear the notes!
If you can't hear those notes, you should probably give up the guitar. With or without distortion the notes are clear as a bell to me.
