@@gordondripman1808 Nope cars have mirrors for a reason and it's exactly for reasons like this. You dont just turn off lane whenever you feel like it without checking. Cyclists are perfectly allowed to filter through traffic and the driver would be found to be totally at fault. If a car is turning off it is their sole responsibility to make sure it is safe to do so... not just other cars but pedestrians and cyclists too. If you turn off and you hit a cyclist who is filtering through that is your fault.
@@gordondripman1808 depends when the video is from, since 2022 rule 76 says cyclists going straight ahead have priority over vehicles turning left so the van was legally at fault. No excuse though for not stopping once he saw the van was going anyway
