Core + tech = ECE
No need to change your course, electronics and telecommunication ( or electrical) engineering are some of the best engineering degrees. Mostly people don't get jobs, because the syllabus of this degrees in India are far behind than what actually happening in the world, therefore u should always have extra knowledge ( whether it's programing or circuit designing).
In terms of high paying jobs, there are many jobs that will pay huge:
RF engineer, SOC engineer, Robotics, AI, Mechatronics, embedded, ASIC, VLSI.......... and many more.
sir I'm studying electronics and communication engineering but this kind of videos make me sad and think that I did mistake choosing this one but I want to work in semiconductor industry but don't know where to start and what to do please could help me out it means world to me please sir

@@OnlyforPinks firstly "u should always keep learning".
Also study whatever they teach u at college lectures, because if u miss something u will most likely won't understand the future topics that require knowledge that was taught to u in the past.
So clear alllllllll the basics nicely, if u do that then little by little you'll start understanding the core of electronics, the brains behind the robots and what not.
I already mentioned the high paying careers in ece, do some deep research on that and select one or more as per ur desire.
Start learning about ur career, on how to get that job and what all knowledge is required. You'll mostly need to learn from external sources (like Google or TH-cam, etc.) because ur degree don't teach u very much about electronics as it is a insanely vast and continuously evolving field.
I can suggest some careers that pay good money and are very popular: robotics, AI(artificial intelligence), mechatronics, IOT(internet of things), Machine learning (it is a part of artificial intelligence).

@@CARTOON_TV_TICK agar aap NIT ya IIT mein select ho jaati hein toh theek hai magar oos NIT ya IIT ki placement par branch wise zaroor ceck kariyega.
Agar aap kisi tier 3 in short-"bekar" college se engineering karne jaa rahein hein toh go for electrical engineering kyunki aapke paas government exams k liye chance hoga aur IT sector is always open for all branches except Civil engineering.
In case you are not interested in government jobs go for Computer Science because you will get 10 to 30 percent chance for government/psu as seats are less also, you will have a very good chance to be a developer with high payscale!
Don't go for IT and ECE if you are interested in government/psu jobs else you will die from very inside when you will miss psu calls by 2 or 3 marks due to seats unavilability - 2 or 3 seats in total!

Job/PSUs me hai and itna toh idea hoga hi kitni vacancy nikalti hai. Baaki GATE ke baad M.tech ke liye ja sakte ho tab kuch achi companies me ho sakta hai. Mere sath ke mostly log IT me hi hai, kuch MBA karne lage and kuch ne m.tech kiya wo Qualcomm etc. Companies me hai.
