Thank you so much for this video. I am short and soft - I love clothes with waist emphasis and flowy garments. I'll love how this video has opened my eyes in seeing the details of what would look good on me, and what bags would work with my frame.
thank you so muchfor your video, it is so great to have fashion tips specially tailored to black and dark skin women. it would be really great if you made a video for inverted triangle body shape and how to style it because i am short and have wide shoulder, and it is a struggle.
Your talent is amazing! You are meticulous, clear and beyond helpful, with diverse example from which we can get inspiration! You are an amazing talent and I appreciate that you started the channel so we could find you
Shien (ships internationally to customers who want a western style), YesStyle (ships internally to customers who want east asian e.g. korean and Japanese styles) and Everything5pound (if you are in the UK) are really good.
Did nobody else notice that the picture of Lisa Bonet at 7:51 is actually Zoe Kravitz (her daughter)? Lol props to you if that was intentional. Anyways, love this video and your content!
Tasha Pie Sure! By raw I don’t mean bad, it’s about things in their natural state For example raw silk ir a messy bun, it’s a look that might look messy in some people but amazing and effortless in others
Some of them do depending on the topic:) But all of my examples are POC women because there is nothing wrong with making content that caters people like me
Question?...Why if this is for Black Women...WHY didn't you use Black Women to Narrate...that's very disturbing even if the content is good...It just seems to be making money off of us yet AGAIN!
Because I am a black woman...?😐 So a black woman is narrating the video. That is literally why I made the channel, because as a stylist I never found examples that applied to me so I decided to create my own methods and share them, instead of only using them on myself and my clients.
@@cocoastyling you have to understand that you sound like a Korean woman. And since we can't see you, it makes it a little weird. However, that does not take away from the intention and usefulness of the channel. Thank you! Just subscribed.
@@cocoastyling you sound a bit like an artist on youtube that goes by Thumin. It's part of why I was immediately invested- amazing content aside. People tend to forget that black women are everywhere and don't have to sound a certain way. I really appreciate the work you're doing!
@@islandofideals6571 Yes! I think people seem to forget that ethnicity =/= nationality. I could be born and raised in Korea, and still, be black. I'm glad you like my content and welcome to my channel💖
@@cocoastyling Well it's good to know you are black...it's not unusual to find folks pretending to be black to sell to black people so you should understand my concern. Thanks and again....it's great to get clarity on this.
I love this as a shorter bw. It’s nice to see a video for us 😊
Glad you liked it!!
This helps im 5'1 with a wider bottom half
Yay! One for the short girls, loved this one!
Thank you for sharing this video.
Curve dominant here 💕
this is so random but as a South African i was holding my breath to hear how you'd say Nomzamo's name and you did so well 😅🤌🏾

That's a great idea!
I’m short and wide but curve dominant. I might be a little soft but I’ll have to rewatch this. Thanks for the advice❤️

I am in love with this channel! So happy I stumbled upon it ☺️
Welcome!!
Short & soft
We love short ladies❤️❤️❤️
Is there any that's not 5'4 below or 5'7 above and it's 5'5-5'6🤧
NVM, I found a similar comment that was replied to.
Wide + Blunt and Plus Size. Thank you, so much, for this video. It really helps, Micah!
Yes I needed this! Thank ya
Exactly what I need to watch, Thanks
I’m a 5’1 inverted triangle.
Can you recommend some good places to shop on a budget?
Lia S. Sure!

They look so similar when you can't completely see their faces haha.
Can you make a video on what is consider a raw look? Is it a subcategory of dressing bad and bouji outfits?
Tasha Pie Sure!

@@cocoastyling Ohhhh Ok, That make sense. 😁
Amazing! Thank you!
I'm 4 11 short black women thank you for this
I m clearly frame dominant and 4 ft 11", but I don't really know how to clarify if I'm short and wide or short and narrow. Can you help me?
Can you do a video for short inverted triangle
Can you please do a video on what shoe wear would best complement what body type❤
This was really helpful! Thanks
Whats the difference between wide and soft
Width is more about how wide or narrow your bones and body frame look.
Softness would be focused on flesh and curves.
I'm 5'1, 126 lbs, and kinda boxy... My thighs are a bit curvier and I have a little belly from having 5 kids. IDK where I'd fit in
Thank you so so much wow
No problem 😊
Great unique content! 👌🏿👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Glad you think so!
what if i like the way short and soft people dress, but i'm short and wide
Just what I needed
I love high waisted bottoms, and don't feel like l look good in long dresses and skirts 😢😢
Okay But what about short flat chested plus sized women too?
I'm 5"5 nothing for us??
You get the best of both worlds:)
Perfectly balanced in the middle, so you can choose to go either way.
Can someone please tell me where a soft classic would fall into this? 😫
Explain short and soft
The audio is so hard to understand.
Short bw who are very petite would be a great idea
I mean sw petite who only wear dreses and skirts and how to wear them and what should be avoided
Style a short, plus size lady, size 18W, big thighs, hips and breast. Lady is black, over 50 with natural salt and pepper hair.
Rouille.. Style...
what if you’re 5’0 even
The same thing applies!
It depends more on your type
if you have any specific questions you can post them too:)
If only these tips could apply to everyone, not just black women!
Some of them do depending on the topic:)
But all of my examples are POC women because there is nothing wrong with making content that caters people like me
