That part and also right after is so good but I love the part where it starts going like “who’s. The. Maze” because it’s so cool (you probably won’t see this it’s been 2 years😳)
i’m part of a local theater group in Ras al Khamiah. we are performing “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” and singing this with choreography… so excited! Go Show Squad!
whenever i listen to the soundtrack this is such a good contrast with the song previous to it, im not that girl...although i listened to it sooooo many time it still makes me cry and then once short day comes on and im all happy again hahaha
@cherrypop146 Continuing on the spoilers, according to the book, she displayed some sort of allergy to water, avoiding it (rain, crying, lakes) and it burned her skin like fire. In the musical it's just a rumor (in Thank Goodness) that she'll melt when exposed to water. In the book it's heavily implied that although she died, she would someday return.
um i think that there is a mistake in the line at like 2:25 it says all the way to be seeing the city... but i think it is what a way to be seeing the city. Im not sure... Anyway thank you for the up load! love the song:)
Listening to this since im doing play to this and auditioning for the part of the good witch ❤️ yeet my audition is the coming up friday and im nervous 😬
Eghh. I don't know what I was thinking on the second line. You're right, sorry. XD I've got the music as well, I think I was just a little... crazy that day. XD
@bellacullen365 It's the Wicked Witch. When water is poured on her she melts. That's in The Wizard of Oz, the original. I'm over halfway through the book and it's not mentioned yet, though.
@bellacullen365 A friend of mine read the book. I believe she said that Elphaba was alergic to water. (Or something. I'm not sure, it was a while ago. Forgive me if I'm wrong. XD)
It's actually "What a way to be seeing the city..." anddd.. "one short day oh there's so much to do." and "Who sagely sailed in to save.. etc" rather than "Whose" Other than that, nice work. ^^
The incorrect wording is towards the end, you've put "All the way to be seeing the city" when it is actually "WHAT a way to be seeing the city" :) Hope this helped!
@cherrypop146 Oh, right--from what I've heard, the book is really different than the musical, so that's probably not the answer when it comes to the musical. In the musical, they (Elphaba and Fiyero) fake the whole "Melting" thing. (Sorry for any spoilers. X'3)
It's Soo Hard Holding The Note On The Second City..I'm Always Out Of Breathe A Couple Of Beats Before. But Yeahhh, I'm Singing This Is College For A Show..It's Gonna Be Amazing!
I just saw the show last week thought she was AMAZING. She has a really nice voice. As for Diane Pilkington... not amazed by her. I found her voice to nasal for Glinda, plus the fact she seemed way to old to play a young perky character. Don't get me wrong... the show IS AMAZING and I ate up every second of it. London's cast is great :)
Am I the only one who just gets chills at 1:02? I can’t explain but something about that harmony makes my ears smile😂
Plus - how often do you get to say “Hoi Polloi”?
That part and also right after is so good but I love the part where it starts going like “who’s. The. Maze” because it’s so cool (you probably won’t see this it’s been 2 years😳)
@@theatre.swiftie22 I agree, the wizard part is my favorite part of the whole song

+Hyeoncheol Jung Out of sheer curiosity, when did you think they said, "What's your name"?
+Colleen Durnin "one short day ". try singing it as "what's your name". it works.
+Hyeoncheol Jung Ohhhh, gotcha

I'm singing this for the Lewis Central Choir.. It's a really catchy song! (:
@bellacullen365 It's the Wicked Witch. When water is poured on her she melts. That's in The Wizard of Oz, the original. I'm over halfway through the book and it's not mentioned yet, though.
Wizomania still makes me grin ^_^

SAMEE
My friend and I are going to NYC in a couple months and we are planning on singing this song together.
Whenever I see this I think of something like Disney Land only green. Just the big castle and buildings and friendly environment.
This is good for my odishon in the mirofala centre ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@bellacullen365 A friend of mine read the book. I believe she said that Elphaba was alergic to water. (Or something. I'm not sure, it was a while ago. Forgive me if I'm wrong. XD)

Archie is a middle-class person who loves yoga, but his best friend, Galileo, is a first-class person who detests yoga.
The incorrect wording is towards the end, you've put "All the way to be seeing the city" when it is actually "WHAT a way to be seeing the city" :) Hope this helped!
