  • Honda cbr900rr fireblade 1995 urban tigre from ground up rebuild not for the factory finish buffs I have catered to my own personal requirements ride hight, controls, suspension and overall look I've built this to keep and had first ride Sunday and it was so worth the effort 👌 thumbs up if u like and if not who cares 😀 cheers

    If ya find one as good as this u will have to pay all in bike turbo and full restore I came out at over ten thou it's had the best available upgrades I can find barnnet drag clutch after destroying 3 ebc track clutches lasted a week and so on as the next week link failed it's done 60000 30 Wi boost and is as new will easy go double and guess I'd fetch around 5 thou for mine it's a beast

    This is a fantastic job mate ☺️ I ride a 1993 version which to say I love is a bit of an understatement lol. Anyway, I apologise for that time old question, but what is it putting out at the wheel and would you recommend a turbo for mine? Bear in mine my bike has done almost 57000 miles so could probably do with a new lease of life 😝

    Cheers pal 😀 no I looked at every option available for fairing replacement from honda £😲 and Asia but communication over paint codes and such was terrible so bit the bullet and did it all my self light sanded all decals lacquer and repaired all cracks by v cutting each edge and carbon fibred each side till built and sanded back my bike is 20 Year old and had 1-2 every pannel but, 3000 miles on over summer and all is still well and good the key I think is taper at least 30 mm from the break giving a large bonding area any other advice b happy to help it was a big job for sure(2 months nights wk ends on fairing) but assured me of the result so ultimately well worth it 👌

      Where did you get the decals in the end, are they the Ines off eBay, if so was the. Ollie match good to the original ones

      Yeah got em off ebay 140 the only difference is the ones off ebay have no metalic just Base colors I decided to live with it for the savings over the oe honda set which I priced at 780 but if ya lookin to do a perfect match factory restore oe is your only route pal

    brother blader u can ask all u like u are the first to mention power 😲now at the min, I'll list the works then power
    turbo conversion by hole shot racing. £ 3500
    forged piston
    conrods 2500
    water meth injection £300
    1 pair kevlar underpants £priceless 😮
    I dyno at 246 bhp 197 ftp
    the turbo conversion on ya standard internals
    will put ya between 190-200 and 167 -173 which is quite the gain from stock! and as far as 600000 on ya blade being worn ya wrong if it's been serviced at the right points I have seen blades still on the road with excess of 140000 on and still pulling well the hole reason I did what I did the blade is built like a car engine dohc it don't rev like ya new bike 16-18 thou which derives all power from bhp high velocity the old blade revs to eleven but I never need change gear now I have the same torque on my bike as my car and a 1200kg difference I came across the new blade while out all tucked in and on the throttle I past him sat up 😏 I wish I could of known his thoughts 💭 its shit like that makes it all worth it 👌

      Yeah all done by my hand nut and bolt it's alot of work just mammoth but the rewards of completing a project out ways any hardship ish 😁
