Love the sprinkler analogy. Playing golf as teenagers we used to put a stick in the back to stop them so we could putt out when they came on.
So when the Niners start losing, media finally acknowledge maybe Purdy is actually good and the Niners have real holes.
Hopefully people start admitting Shanahan has weaknesses like not drafting Oline or being better situationally.
It's so annoying watching the draft and just praying/yelling "DRAFT O LINE!"
Been saying it for years now since really following the team again. Shanahan gets to much credit and praise. He's certainly a good and top 3rd of coaches, but if anyone benefits from all the talent it's him. There are some clear deficiencies in his scheme, play calling, and roster construction.

I don't think many folks had Sam Darnold as an All Pro caliber QB this season on their bingo cards. Very happy for him and the Vikes fans. Add in Andy Dalton's performance Sunday, and veteran "also ran" QBs are doing great so far this season.
And maybe Bryce Young is really that terrible.
I think the biggest compliment one can give Brock Purdy is that he looks like an insane competitor

Purdy balled TF out Sunday. He was scrambling like Mahomes and dropping bombs on a dime.
Purdy is accurate and usually throws to the right receiver. Not the biggest arm, but a good quarterback.
Literally no one, and I mean NO ONE is talking about what Mike MacDonald has done up there in Seattle .......

Chiefs are 3--0 only because the refs helped them again, ignoring blatant PI in the end zone that would have given ATL the win.

The falcons had a chance to win the game after the missed PI. The Chiefs defense made a stop on a questionable play call from Atlanta.
100% when it comes down to the wire and the Chiefs are trying to make a drive at the end of the game all we talk about is here comes a pass interference call to give them a free second chance and a free 47 yards. Any of these teams in the NFL if you keep giving them enough chances like they did to the Rams on Sunday they're going to score eventually

Chiefs are always comfortable because they know the refs have their backs they just need to keep it close 😆
Chiefs were called for 6 penalties, and 4 of them were imaginary: 1. Jones called for Roughing the Passer when he didn't
2. Reid called for offsides when there was a WR behind him and the ball wasn't snapped
3. McDuffie called for PI when the WR ran right I to him as he was standing still
4. Conner called for hands to the face when he didn't touch the guys face
