God bless this guy for loving his job SO MUCH that he's willing to go onstage sick. He was in what looked like a conference room and he was answering questions for fans and he said I can't remember now but I think he said in 1993, he did a concert sick. God bless him. I mean I wish he didn't do that but still. I don't want anybody to do that.

I love Meat. He's such a nice person. Half an hour interview feels like 10 minutes listening to him. Thank you for not interrupting him.

I love Braver Than We Are and I rhink it’s an incredible album. The characters on it are in agonising pain and suffering from pure rage therefore Meat’s voice had to reflect that. Not only that Meat’s back had been giving him problems and he was on mega strong painkillers whilst recording this

I like your comment. I just bought Braver cd to complete my ML collection and I am just starting to listen. Too many do unfair comparisons one album to another when I prefer to judge each on its own merit? Changes as we age are inevitable so how can you compare his voice now to years ago? I believe Meat wanted Jim to be able to produce the best songs he had left as a last collaboration plus the album cover highlighting the crookedness of the record industry is terrific. Miss Meat Loaf so much, hate it that he suffered so.

I know English may not be your first language (Nor should it be!) And so I was thinking that maybe this is a translation? But I should point out that the album is called "Braver Than We Are", not "Better" :) Cheers

Does it bother anybody else that he would work himself to the point of EX-HAU-STION at the end of a concert. Did it concern anybody? I can just hear me going " Why would it? " Because Meat, you were hurting yourself. You were and I am worried about you when you did that.

“ best record we’ve ever done” what a joke! It’s the worst by a country mile. I’m amazed the record company allowed it to be released as it’s so appalling.
And I was a Meat Loaf fan since ‘77.

You can say, that you don't like it - that's ok! Your opinion! But you can not say that it is the worst! If you don't understand Meat's and Jim's art (and you obviously have no idea about it), then stay at least respectful in your comment. This album is not just some music to hear, and you cannot expect music like Bat out of hell. That chapter is closed and the two went to another project on a higher level of performance. It's like an old Rembrandt picture: if you just have a quick look at it, you can never find out about the brilliance of that picture. It needs some time to find out. And it's the same with this record! I love it and appreciate that they dare to make a record like this! It's art!
