Elvis really sings from the heart so beautifully. But hat's off to that piano player. Am I the only person who gets a little misty eyed listening to the incredible performance?

Elvis's ego was hurt because she left him...if it would have been him to leave first things would have been different!!! The Memphis Mafia would ever tell you that!!! Elvis is amazing!!!!

Elvis didn’t write any song…He just wasn’t a writer but with his voice he didn’t need to write songs. He made every song he sung his own! Elvis was the greatest singer and artist of all time! He had more gold records than any other artist. Elvis had 101 Gold records, 57 platinum and 26 multi platinum! Incredible!

And to put the gold, platinum and multi platinum in perspective, people actually needed to go to a shop to purchase the record (no easy streaming in those days).

Yes, he did record this for Priscilla. He gave it to her before it came out. Cilla hadn’t said she was leaving. It was right before.

He didn't write it but he chose it because he was thinking about her at the time of recording it. They separated in February 1972 and he recorded it in March 1972. Another song that he recorded then was Separate Ways which was about Priscilla and his daughter Lisa.

This song elvis he recorded and sent it to his ex wife priscilla, she said in an interview that this song was very hard for her to listen to she. It was very emotional for her... it's sad they couldn't make their marriage work... this song he sings so beautifully his voice is so amazing, do you know he never had any voice lessons his voice just came natural for him...

I read during their separation leading up to the divorce Priscilla would not go to Graceland and instead met with Elvis at his fathers (Vernon) house which was on the street to the right of Graceland. Elvis had just recorded this song “Always On My Mind” and gave Priscilla the acetate record of this song, I do believe this song was recorded by him for her.

Elvis lived through songs that fit his emotions and lost loves. Willy Nelson came out with it first if I’m not mistaken.

BrandyBerry- Elvis actually never wrote any of his songs. Always on my mind was a cover song that Elvis did. This song I don't believe was about Priscilla bc he recorded it in 72 and they didn't divorce until 73.

Willie Nelson, recorded this song first, Elvis did a cover of it and, he did not record this song for Prissy, he did not ask her not to leave him, she did not leave him over his meds., as she betrayed it in the movie, she told Baz this but it was not true! She told Elvis that she was leaving and, was having an affair with Mike Stone! Elvis filed for divorce, not her. She moved in with Mike Stone, in LA. Elvis put a stipulation in the divorce degree that Cilla was not allowed to use the Presley name any longer! The divorce was final in 1973, I think that's the right date in LA. After Vernon, Elvis' father passed away 2 years after Elvis, she started calling herself by the Presley name again although, she can not change it back to Presley, she tries to portray that she is Elvis' widow, she's an ex-wife only! By law she has to use her maiden name unless she remarries! He told about this song one night on stage because, people just assumed he wrote it for Cilla, he said that he did not record that song for her, that he liked the song and, that was the reason he recorded it. He said that during their divorce they decided to stay friends due to their little daughter! That's what Elvis said, himself now, people can believe Cilla or, they can choose to believe Elvis himself! It's on YT, you can look it up! The divorce degree read: The marriage was unreconcilable due to Cilla having an affair with Mike Stone and, Elvis had an affair with Ann Margaret! Cilla told Baz that it happened the way she told him but, it did not! Cilla has told so many lies about their relationship, she redacted all those lies years ago that she wrote in that book she wrote " Elvis ans Me " and, is coming out next year with a new movie about it, called " Priscilla " after it come out in 1980's as a mini series on TV, Cilla is still bleeding Elvis' estate for money and, she is a manipulating liar 🤥 🤥

Yes, Elvis chose this song to record after Priscilla Left him and according to Priscilla, he personally gave this song to her.
Here is "You Were Always On My Mind" With Video of Elvis & Priscilla
    th-cam.com/video/um_Tr2OHleM/w-d-xo.html
Below is another song Elvis sang on Sept 2, 1974, one year after their Divorce was final, it's called:
    "IT'S MIDNIGHT" th-cam.com/video/YZaFihDRjZs/w-d-xo.html
Priscilla was at this Concert, sitting right next to the stage. Elvis sang this song to her, shortly after he begins singing, you'll hear him say, Listen Cilla (Priscilla), It's Heartbreaking.

Elvis song just too much to be even song writer. But he lead his orchestra like a master. He might have been good?

    • @naomiwarner7117
      @naomiwarner7117 ปีที่แล้ว

Elvis produced all his song's, lead his hole band not, just the Orchestra. He arranged all his song's himself! Elvis was his own music Producer! He did everything a Producer doe's! plus Directed his band! There's was no question on rather he was good, he was great! They didn't call him the king for nothing!
