This video demonstrates and interesting way to create an 18" round wood and resin side table. Villy Woodworking uses a lathe and wood turning tools to level this table instead of using a CNC, planer or slab levelling jig. However, it turns out beautifully.

That is a beautiful little table. But holy crap that was an excessive amount of work. I suggest getting a router sled.

Work with what you got! We have a planer and CNC for leveling, but this customer did it this way.
