Really sorry about the static on the mic again. It is driving me crazy trying to figure out what causing it. All my early videos are crystal clear and then boom last year this nonsense started and I can't find a solution no matter what I try. Any tips would be appreciated.
Could it just be a loose wire or internal connection? I find when the static comes and goes like that it's because the hardware has some kind of low-intensity failure.
@@donbionicle it is hard to say. I have used two identical USB logitec head sets that use to work fine, but both exhibitited the behavior once it started happening. I figured it was a problem with Logitech driver's, So I bought a different brand that plugs into ports on back and uses the motherboard realtek sound chip...same problem. If it is hardware, i don't think it is related to the mic/headset or driver's as the problem persists even when that hardware/driver's have changed. It sounds like interference from another source like every 5 min or so. Then goes away. I am going to try recording with my internet unplugged next to see if my wifi or router are the culprits.
Are you on a carpet? Sounds like a static problem... Use anti static products or make sure you aren't on a plastic based floor. Also buying a 30$ second audio card might help assuming you have the slots available in your computer... Wireless microphone or headset might help, not sure what you are using...
Agreed. It will find a good use for sure. I will almost certainly use it in place of titanium for tier 1 system development if for no other reason than we have limited gathering and started later than I would like. This will allow us to catch up mid game and use it for early colonization more readily, which you should always do, at least until you hit your system colony cap. Then you can slow it down and take it easy moving those resoruces into tier 2 developments maybe or military endevers.
Regarding the engine on the starting scout: a custom faction would not necessarily have the tech for the upgraded warp module, and thus the ship would not be buildable on turn 1.
My only complaint is that it should clearly show your default scout as say Fering0 and your current design in ship builder as Fering1 to minimize confusion. I was unaware of this for the longest time and just assumed my scout ship had 7 movement since it was the "same" design as in my editor by name.
So I am rethinking my early ship design choice. I now believe the proper play may be two probes on the scout with two engines...and three engines on the hero. This will give you a movement of 10 and 4 probes that Regen every two turns due to explorer trait. This should be sufficient to gather curiosities you find and allow you good movement for scouting star lanes. Your second scout can potentially be used primarily to send probes out to uncover new lanes and systems, revealing curiosities for your hero to grab before you bring her back around turn 10. Then both your ships go privateer and can scout from there fairly safely with good movement and probe capability...upgrading as you get the tech to improve probes or engines. Putting a probe on the hero doesn't make as much sense due to the fact they take longer to Regen.
For some reason I thought I had ended the turn before hitting the move ships button which is why I was confused at my one scout not moving. I however did not hit it and had manually moved my stationary ship earlier in the same turn. Mystery solved.

Even if the Jadonyx isn't used for a system development, it's always good as trade fodder or Dust on the market.

Ah, so it is a feature and not a bug. Lol 😆 makes sense I guess.

i learned that i have no clue how to play this game 😂
You are welcome to learn with me, because as much as I do know you will find I learn new things all the time while playing.
