I've never been a fan of the Lakers, but if you doubt that he's one of the greatest of all time, you're just ignorant and don't know the game. Props to him for playing at this high level still!
I've been watching Kobe a very long time now, but goddamn, this season, except for the Lakers' struggles, has been so much fun. Given his age and years in the NBA, the way he's playing.... it has been an honor to watch him every night. Incredible.
Other than the large amount of losses for the lakers, this has been my favourite season to watch kobe in a while. Dunkin like this at age 34 always gets me excited
If kobe can come back, do this again like this past season and stay healthy I think he deserves that MVP. Kobe showed that he can still drive and finish just like old times. Added with his shooting, he is unstoppable
That's part of the reason, the fact Kobe's managed to give us 17 seasons a solid 15 of them being allstar seasons is unreal, most people can't even play that long, much less play at such a high level for that long, only person from the early 2000's still doing it aside from KB is Duncan. Plus even if T-Mac was still in the league and never tore his ACL he wouldn't be at Kobe's level, T-Mac was just a scorer, Kobe can do it all
I dont think people understand how impressive this is.. He's this athletic and agile after 17 years, that's before 90% of the teenagers alive today were even born, and thats only if you count 19 year olds as teenagers.. smh when Kobe retires itll be a sad day

I feel like Kobe has the best player edge because who else is doin it like him at his age....nobody. Its guys younger than him thats not even close to him. Usually by his age he would be getting short minutes, or washed up by now.
