Gabriel has never had any training. Totally self-taught. He believes God is his gifter and teacher. He is a very devout Christian and because of his values, he won’t do just anything, and I’m sure that hasn’t helped him in today’s ’anything goes’ society. I’ve heard that for every pop song he sings, he alternates with a gospel song. He is a wonderful human being with a wonderful value system that probably today’s culture would find silly, but I think it’s great. We need brilliantly talented people who also have high moral standards in our world today. Gabriel Henrique is my hero!

Gabriel really does operate and sing outside the mainstream of "popular" Brazilian music. For many Brazilians he is considered a Gospel artist and unfortunately they have labeled him as such. Gospel music to some degree is popular in Brazil but to get any airtime and coverage from Brazilian mainstream media and those high up in the music industry in Brazil for him is like next to impossible. He will not compromise his values and do music that have unaceptable lyrics. He is a young man of high moral standards and so the industry holds him at arms length at least in Brazil. With his AGT performance they have begun to warm up to him, but not to the degree they should. He is caught between a rock and a hard place. His fans continue to hope and believe in him because he is one of the best singers in the 21st century. You will hear more from him. Great reaction!!! ❤

@veracosta por que o Brasil não oferece mercado para ele? Tirando as músicas cristã que GH canta ele não canta música brasileira de nenhum gênero e as músicas brasileiras são riquíssimas. Às músicas internacionais que ele canta não são melhores em nada que aos nossos variados estilos de música.

Infelizmente o talento não é o mais importante nesse quesito. A prova são cantores de funk, a maioria nem sabem cantar mas tem perfil comercial que vale a pena investir,eles vendem. É assim,.. esse rapaz italiano do vídeo falou que não entende como o BR não valoriza o Gabriel, ele foi até um pouco irônico quando disse : "ele não é bom o suficiente para o BR?" Ele deveria conhecer a expressão "ESSE CANTOR É COMERCIAL?" , para as maiores gravadoras brasileiras o Gabriel Henrique não é. Uma voz linda,um talento raro.Ele sabe mesmo que para ter uma chance real no BR teria que mudar o estilo e lutar para garantir o seu "espaço", talvez fora do BR ele consiga. O problema que os EUA também tem dificuldade de valorizar cantores estrangeiros mesmo cantando em inglês, tem exceções como Shakira, mas ela também não consegue chegar perto do sucesso de Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Rihanna...BOA SORTE PARA O GABRIEL.

Great review. I like how you acknowledge Gabriel's ability to perform in a much superior way. He did sing in multiple TV shows in Brazil and the fact that he hasn't achieved stardom yet is about to change now that he has international visibility, but I guess this is not only a Brazil thing, we just saw what happened at AGT.

Infelizmente no Brasil o que faz sucesso é música com alto teor de sensualidade, seja no funk, sertanejo ou pagode/samba. Temos artistas maravilhosos no nosso país que não tem a devida visibilidade, e isto dificulta o conhecimento deles por parte do público, e Gabriel é este exemplo. Os programas de TV só falaram dele quando recebeu o Golden Buzzer pra seguir o hipe do momento, semanas se passaram e a mídia nacional não fala mais nada do nosso cantor, que é uma das maiores vozes do mundo na atualidade.
Tudo isso se deve a baixa educação do povo que apesar de ser um povo bom, simpático, amável mas sem nível de didática e pra completar, sendo " desgovernado" por um semi analfabetø que só deixa o Brasil mal aos olhos do mundo. É uma pena😢

Se fosse Funk, brega Funk, reggaeton e outros não precisa nem mesmo saber cantar que faz sucesso mas, os bons cantores como "Gabriel Henrique", quase nunca se destacam. Brasileiro esta vivendo ainda a época da MPB, Samba, Pagode, Forro Universitário, Sertanejo. Na cultura brasileira cantores com o alcance vocal do GH são considerados cantores que gritam muito, o povo não sabe e não conhece as técnicas vocais que ele domina muito bem.
