With that being said, it somewhat stays true to the "Let's read homestuck" that this song is sampling from, which in that conversation both Past and Future Karkat have the exact same voice.
They have the same voice, and the voice has the same overall pitch. They are singing different NOTES at times. There are many moments in the song where they sound exactly the same

It’s a small thing but I like how Jade’s arrow colors are the signature colors of the beta kids, plus the hold notes being white with the colored outline being similar to how the kernelsprites are colored. unless I’m looking too much into it lol
also the arrows being like this (=>) is a nice detail too

when it was jade's first long note, the blue arrow got held down first, and if we have the kernelsprites similarity put into place, that could maybe signify how john got his kernelsprite first, and the last hold note was the green arrow, which could be like how jade got her kernelsprite last out of the four kids
and for when jades final turn happens by around 1:20, pay attention to the four long notes that get held down in order

i've tried to read homestuck on like 8 separate occasions and never gotten more than 100 panels in, i want to so bad but it takes SO LONG
I can definitely confirm that the comic gets SO much better once you get through the beginning stages. It is incredibly boring to start but it sets up a ton of important stuff to keep in mind and think about so you kinda HAVE to pay attention which sucks. There are still plentiful good moments before things really kick off but if you can get the motivation to do it, I'd highly recommend you try to power through to the meaty bits. Homestuck is an experience lmfao
You should listen to the readings. It's way easier to consume and process. Plus the recaps after each act helps sum it down

I absolutely love that you took the voicelines from the let's read homestuck series. their voices for the characters seem so perfect.
A detail I like a lot is the arrow notes are the continue buttons for homestuck, each one are colored after the main 4 kids and the up arrow is green so it looks like the homestuck symbol a bit. Very very nice touch
