Sounds great Michael! The way you approach the notes with the little slides, and inflections, is really cool! Could you give us a run-down on the gear used on that one?
I used a Greg Back guitar (w/Seymour Duncan Custom pickups)into a Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal into a Marshall 20 watt JMP into a Fryette Power Station into a Radial Headload then into my effects - Strymon El Capistan, Pigtronix Echolution, Strymon DIG and Strymon Big Sky left and right to a Kahayan mic pre into Protools. This is direct (no speakers or mics).....
@@MTLIRocker WOW! Cool! Thanks for responding! :) Ok, I get that you boosted the Marshall with the Bluesbreaker pedal, and slaved the Marshall through the PS. But what was the Headload used for? You also have 3 delay pedals, plus a reverb.....were these all in series or parallel? Cheers! :)
@@ian1eh944 If I was to hazard a guess, as I am no MT, but - looks like he uses the Fryette to boost the output of the Marshall since it's a low powered 20 watt head, which allows him to shape it's tone, and then he uses the Radial to load the signal down to line level since he has the JDX circuit in it, with it's EQ etc.......but that is totally out of my ass on that, lol.
@@dsarlis Hey Bro!! I hope all is well! We need a Montreal hang day at Uncle Ted's soon! :) Ok, so I thought he was using the Fryette to "load" the amp, and then maybe send that into the Radial to get the JDX speaker sim, as you said....But what a SOUND! Jeez this guy gets such great sounds! :)

But yeah - it was a head scratcher as well, but, I've been eyeing the Radial Headload for a while now, so input wise, it will only accept an amp to speaker signal, which left the Fryette to act as a booster to the Marshall.
