Hi Bernie, the 3pt hitch will lift about 300lbs not a huge amount but enough to lift the front wheels of the tractor off the ground, you could use stronger actuators to lift more weight if required
you can get heavier more powerful actuators but for a garden tractor 300lbs lift is enough because much more would lift the tractor front wheels off the ground

I used 6" stroke but you can get them any length you wish

I got the actuator at Princess Auto but you can get them on eBay also
