Fishing For Lake MONSTERS! | Florida Freshwater Invasive Slam

- The boat is in the shop this week but that didn't stop us from going after some big fish! I really got back to my roots with this video chasing fish I have not caught in many years and doing it on foot just like when I was a kid. The whole goal was to complete the trifecta of freshwater invasive fish here in Florida (Pacu, Bullseye Snakehead, Peacock Bass) and we accomplished the mission in a big way!
As always thanks for watching and please make sure to subscribe and turn on the bell icon so you don't miss any future videos!

CRAZY GREAT VIDEO! The FINESSE KING was hilarious! That tumble at the fence was the best! I love that kid. He's the best!
Haha he really is the best! Thanks for watching 🙌
Pacu is delicious with very sweet meat. 10/10 recommend! I'm actually excited they're here, because the Amazon is a far way to travel to catch, clean and cook.
Nicely done guys! Looking forward to seeing more of your fishing adventures.
Bro you’re crazy putting your finger in that pacu’s mouth 😂💀 love it.

Mateeee!! Epic episode love the diversity you guys have over there I’m super jealous haha I’ll get over there one day! Quick question what Sony DSLR are you running to get that slo mo zoom footage?? It’s so good to watch!
I appreciate it! You gotta visit south Florida so you can catch some for yourself! The camera is a Sony A7SIII, it allows me to capture 4K 120 which does make for some epic shots.
@@SunsOutFishing appreciate the reply may man! Will be over there one day for sure. Keep up the epic content and if you ever think about heading over Australia 🇦🇺 give us a bell 👌🤙
I definitely would like to get to Australia one day! I’ll definitely let ya know!

I appreciate it! I thought it was pretty sick too
fire
Thanks 🙏
love the vids man keep it up!
I appreciate it!
Amazing video
Thanks so much!
Great video 🤙🤙🤙
Thanks for watching!
Actually Peacock Bass are not considered "invasive", they are "non-native" because they were brought on purpose. Did not just randomly appear as all the other ones did.
That makes sense. Thanks
Awesome video! What is the rod/reel/line setup you are using?
Thanks! That’s a van staal vr50 with 15lb braid and the rod is a medium heavy action custom rod 10-20 lb
My advice, once the hits come, just let the bait freeze in the water to let the fishy swallow it instead of continually pulling it away from it.
Good advice
The pacu are edible and are one of the favorite fish to eat in some south American countries
Yeah I looked it up after I shot the video. Hopefully I can try one some day.
Dang are you in the golf course that’s usually where da monsters are be safe t dawg don’t get 2 deep bro and don’t be letting them break you off like that hahaha
Hahaha thanks Rob I’ll try my best lol
I’m from California and may be in south FL next year. Would love to do some fishing there. If you don’t mind, what city or area were you fishing?
This was all shot in broward county Florida
Actually, a snakehead can live outside the water for up to 3 days as long as it stays wet. Helluva catch on that pacu, would love to catch one of them myself. Care to put me on one?
That’s wild! I don’t have em dialed like that unfortunately but thanks for watching
Omfg a Pacu in Florida??? Here in Argentina it is a very sporty fish and difficult to catch especially in those sizes. They are definitely edible and many people say they are delicious. Please, dont put yours fingers in that mounth again. Cheers bro! Great video.
Haha thanks man. I definitely won’t be lipping one again anytime soon. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video!! Love your channel. I am from Illinois and will be coming to Florida very soon. I will have one day to catch Snook and Redfish and anything else I might come across. I will be going to the East coast. Vero Beach and Sebastian inlet. I will be fishing from the shore. I want to catch something. Where should I go to put the odds in my favor? I have tried this twice before and got skunked both times. Please provide me with some of your expert advice. Also everywhere I go there are no fishing signs. It’s like people around Ver Beach hate fisherman. I thought Florida was fishing capital of the world. People I have met while fishing around Vero weren’t very nice.
I appreciate it! I’m not super familiar with that area but in the summer time the snook are spawning and should be all over the beach and inlets. You can try walking the public beach early am and late afternoon throwing small jigs or jerkbaits. You can also fish Sebastian inlet or fort pierce inlet. There should be bait at the inlet so use a sabiki rig to catch live bait and fish them free line with a 40lb leader and a 3/0 circle hook.
@@SunsOutFishing Thanks for the info. I have tried that before with live croakers and at peak high tide at Sebastian inlet jetty and not a single bite. Everyone on TH-cam make it look so easy, but croakers and one whiting are the only fish I have ever caught. I will try again, but I don’t have much faith. Also I will be at the inlet either Thursday 3-28 or Friday 3-29. Maybe this year will be different. I just wish I knew what I am doing wrong. I duplicate what I see in TH-cam, but, I never get a single bite. I would be extremely excited if I could just have a couple of fish on for a bit, even if they come off. I just don’t want to be skunked. I am like 0 for 3 at the Sebastian inlet. Again thanks for the response. Keep the videos coming. Hope you have a great 2024. I’m a subscriber for life.
I appreciate you! Good luck this year! I hope you get on em!
I have a place in boyton..fish the canals . can't seem to get a snakehead..do you ask permission to fish the golf courses and HOA's?
I feel like there should be some up that way. We don’t ask permission but if someone tells us we aren’t allowed to fish we respectfully leave.
@@SunsOutFishing I see them in the canals...Going to implement some of your techniques...Thanks
Anytime! Good luck 👍
I cant believe Florida lets people release these fish back in the water. That place is trying to be Jumanji.
Whatch language thanks
Cry 😢
