Just had this done last week on my 2010 V70 at 129,000 miles, my local garage charged £220 inc vat all in, what a relief the noise had become unbearable.
every bolt was overtightened.. then using torque wrench, none of them even moved, they were overtightened by impact wrench.. But otherwise, video was informative. Thanks!

@@jasonbrighty5100 No I had no messages come up at all or engine light.There was no play visible at the wheel either but what a racket it made.
@Ian Robertson in the same boat, mine was noted on the mot as being slightly noisy but the drone has fairly increased.
@@Muiry8 Yeah mine got much louder in a short space of time,I can hear the other side starting to go now too.

There is no way that spindle comes off or in that strut that easy 😅 I did and was a nightmare 🤦🏼♂️
