    If every company would follow your business model, this world would be sooo much better. You all have got me back in the hobby. The ability to interact with the people producing and building these quality products is second-to-none. Thank you for the great electronics and you’ve got a lifelong customer here.✌️

      Essentially, they sound a bit different because they have different bandwidths (frequency response) and, depending on the feedback used, could have lower THD. Increased feedback to lower THD does not come without negatives, such as transient distortions, or time domain distortions.

    Excellent video!! I have the Sparkos Op Amps in my J2S DAC (AK4499) and Archel 3 Pro Amp (Zebra wood stack) and the Sparkos are definitely working some magic. I highly recommend upgrading to the Sparkos Op amps if you don't have them in your DAC or Amp

    I don't even own the DAC, but this was well explained enough I feel I could do the swap. I'm just curious about audio gear, otherwise I'm not sure what put this in my recommended. The TH-cam recommendation algorithm is funny like that. (Sounds like this is a small family business, how cool is that? Glad to hear small companies are still making it in the audio business in this day and age. I will have to consider your company if/when I am in the market for new audio gear.) Best to you folks.

    So I definitely broke one of my OPA op amps. One of pins snapped off during removal. I realize the feet on the wooden boxes are screw on feet but I think something similar on the aluminum box would be nicer than just the rubber bumper feet. I love my J2S with the AKM 4499 and Sparkos SS2590 on all outputs.

Thanks in advance. also i like how you can mix and match and custom design the dacs w/ the colors and such on your website. I think i saw in one of your videos you said it was a family bussiness and your mom did some of the paintings on the aluminum bodies. if so they look cool.

    Question: So I see she installed three different op amps. Was this just for video illustration or is it common practice to use different op amps on the same board?

    • @RachelGeshelli
      @RachelGeshelli  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That was just for the video to show how to put each different op amp in. You can use 2 of the same op amps for the XLR and different on the RCA if you wanted! Common example would be opa 1656 on the xlr and sparkos or burson on the rca.
