    Thank you for making this totally possible for me to do. The step-by-step is just what I needed. I watched this every time I changed the lever. Looking forward to more videos.

    I was always taught to use grease on the lever, would you recommend not using it for this?

    Hi Zack! I have a small question about the KM cordless clippers. After changing out the lever, my hinge hasn’t been locking onto some of my blades. The problem only started after switching it so I can’t help but feel I did something wrong. If you have any advice for me I’d appreciate it! Thank you! 🤎

      Sorry about our slow reply, looking at your hinge there should be tow small wires that are spring loaded on the bottom. Those wires must insert into the corresponding holes in the latch. This is what makes the latch pull back to hook the socket on the blade.

    Would you happen to know where I can get a replacement hinge screw? Mine came loose and fell out. It seems everyone has the housing screws but all I need is the one screw for the hinge.

      Hi Veronica! We are only able to get the hinge screw as part of an assembly with the hinge and latch from Wahl and we are also out of stock on them. Email me at service@theedgepro.com if you would like me to backorder that for you and let you know when we get it back in stock. Thanks!

    What would cause the T10 screws (right hand screw) holding the hinge in place to continually drop out and not tighten? I have sent the same clippers back to Wahl for repair on the exact same screw 5 times now, the last twice they have only lasted a few weeks before the reoccurring fault happened again

      Hi Dawn! Is the screw itself getting damaged or are the threads of where it screws in getting stripped out? If it is the latter, you would need a motor frame. This part is not sold separately without the motor and has to be sent to a service center for installation. Is the screw vibrating out? If so, you can add medium locktite to the threads to help keep it from backing out. This will only work if the threads are still good. A trick you can attempt is to wrap the threads of the screw with dental floss or pipe thread tape to fill in the gap between the threads and the screw as a way to secure it.

    Do you guys carry the lever? Also, my screws aren’t tightening do you guys carry those as well?

      We do carry the lever. Here is the link: www.theedgepro.com/products/km-5-km-10-lever-r
      Regarding the screws, are you talking about the hinge screws or housing screws? The housing screws are only sold as part of a housing kit and the hinge screws come with the hinge and latch (currently out of stock).

    Do you carry the replacement battery for this unit and if so, how much is it?

    • @TheEdgePro
      @TheEdgePro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Juan! Wahl has not released the parts for this clipper yet. Typically they wait at least as long as the warranty is good for before they will release these parts. If you have a bad battery, you will have to send the clipper in to Wahl for repair.

    Can the battery be replaced?

    • @TheEdgePro
      @TheEdgePro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Currently Wahl has not released the battery as a replacement part so you would have to send it in to Wahl for a battery replacement. They do have a five year warranty I believe, so chances are that would still be under warranty!
