You're right about PayPal support. This method in the video used to never work for me until I made a new account this year and I can now withdraw from my debit card hassle free. My first account is stuck on a business sign up page which asks for a Social security number and since I am in the Caribbean I just cant get pass this page so the account is pretty useless.

Articles of Association) She said withdrawing from PayPal to a personal account is illegal. (She used a phrase for the practice but I cannot remember) This is very disappointing because I do not have a personal business but I work online as a marketer so I have no way to transfer my US to TTD.

@@liisahope1630 Just a heads up...PayPal can decide to ultimately not give your account withdrawal access or hold your funds for 30 days every month before depositing the money... ultimately PayPal decides how they treat your account...my advice is do not rely on PayPal and check out your other options to getting paid internationally.

There is not much to think about... Payoneer is not a payment processor...and you can only use it to get paid from registered businesses on the platform, that most people in Trinidad don't use to begin with...I use it to get paid by Amazon, that's it for me.
What advice do you have for Trinidadians who want to sell on Etsy. The only payment option for us is paypal for we are not on etsy's list of countries that cater to various payment methods. For me, I have chosen etsy as a starting point to sell digital png and svg files because etsy draws in a large amount of customers. I'm open to any advice you can give.
The best advice I can give you is to think payments first and use platform's that we can get paid on...Etsy is great but i personally don't believe any Caribbean Business should be relying on a platform that only gets paid out through PayPal... atleast look at Shopify & Wipay.

Hey... unfortunately you cannot use PayPal and keep the money in USD and if they don't release the funds...it just sits in your PayPal wallet...there's no way to transfer it out if PayPal doesn't give you access.

You cannot put funds into your PayPal wallet in the Caribbean...you can only send money through Paypal using a Credit Card that's attached, and you need to send only the allotted amount of USD thats available on your card for the month...if you try to send over your limit, you will be denied

What about receiving funds from someone in the US? I recently tried to send my family member some money through PayPal to their PayPal and Trinidad with a linked JMMB Card and was denied. How are you getting the funds into your PayPal account? I’m trying to send from outside the country into Trinidad.
You cannot put funds into your PayPal wallet in the Caribbean...you can only send money through Paypal using a Credit Card that's attached, and you need to send only the allotted amount of USD thats available on your card for the month...if you try to send over your limit, you will be denied

No...jmmb can't block it from entering your PayPal account...you need to contact Paypal

Linx Visa Debit cards from any of the Banks can't connect to begin with. And RBC has still blocked their Visa Credit Cards from receiving funds.

You need a job and payslip to open an account with JMMB...not for Paypal.

Yes it still works..and there is another method through Wise. Wise deposits PayPal money to ANY bank account. Will have a video up on it over the weekend.

You can't load PayPal accounts in Trinidad.

@@nightshadesylv You can't use PayPal money in the wallet to pay for anything with a Trinidad PayPal account. All you can do from your PayPal wallet is withdraw.
