Jacob Hernandez he's the most overrated corner of all time. he's a trick pony who held wr's throughout their routes because it was a different era. if he played in today's era, he would get exposed. he can't play zone, he can play run support, he can't tackle. he was a one trick pony playing with the great Cowboys dynasty and played with the great niners team. he's overrated. Sherman is much better than sanders and revis. Sherman can do it all, he can shut you down playing man or zone, he's great in run support and he's a great tackler. he's not afraid to get physical. Revis and sanders are the softest corners, they're the most overrated corners of all time. I'll take sherman over Revis and sanders anyday and twice on Sunday. he makes everyone around him better. he shuts down his whole side of the field with multiple recievers in the area. qbs are still afraid to throw his way even in his 9th season, he is still the best and proves it every year. he turned a bad seahawks teams into the best defense and two consecutive superbowls, and he turned a bad niners team into the best defense and another superbowl appearance. sanders joined the best teams, he didn't make them great, they were already great teams. Sherman joined an awful dumpster fire niners team and turned it into a superbowl team with the best defense. Revis had a few good years to start his career, them he became a bum the rest of his career.

Receivers and cbs are the biggest divas in sports
Sherman plays mostly in a Cover 3 Zone, whereas Revis played mostly as a Man corner, often following the teams best WR. Both play at a high level in these schemes. Revis play is probably more difficult with playing more man to man, especially since he’s going up against the number 1 WR all game. But both of HOFers 🤷♂️

Name a no.1 receiver Revis didn’t neutralize in the first 8 years of his career. You can go watch the film it’s easy to see. Champ was spectacular and I’ll give him the nod as the better football player overall because he could play offense corner and safety at very high level. But if we talking strictly corner it’s Revis easy just watch from a technical aspect, the film doesn’t lie

If we talking strictly corner, the corner who played BOTH man and zone exceptionally well and played the RUN SUPPORT exceptionally well, then that nod goes to Champ.
Champ beats revis in zone coverage and run support. Champ also beats Revis in making more plays on the ball as he had more interceptions throughout his career. Don't give me the BS that people didn't throw at Revis because Revis has plenty of Pass deflections. Champ turns pass deflections into INTs.
Revis matches Champ in man coverage and if you want to say Revis is better in man coverage then congrats, that's the only thing he has over Champ and its NOT by much.
