Rhythmind vs Brez and Bizkit vs Robin are two other really popular battles. Rhythmind had better rounds there than he did here.
As others have said technically everything has to be from a vocal sound with effects added on. But the new loopstations and some additional devices let them pre-input an entire melody which it can play just from a single base sound input. So while technically the rules are still the same the new devices can build so much on top of the simplest input. It’s becoming more about live music production than beatboxing. Some have suggested splitting the category with more restricted devices and effects compete separately from other loopers, but no word if it will happen.
It’s quite hard to keep up the quality of tracks already as is so I’d say we should keep it as one categort
The mk2's can bugger off imo. mk1 + skill is where it's at. Look at Bizkit for example, winner on a mk1.

@@roboket3524 I prefer a battles where skill shines through a limited device. mk2 was a good idea with better sound quality, but sequencers kinda spoiled it.

since you are back to the Loopstation beatbox game. I'd suggest checking out the kbb21 loopstation stuff as there is alot of melodic stuff over there that you may enjoy (Robin, KBA, Josh O.etc)
there are no samples only effects original sound has to come from the mouth the rest are effects on the machine he did silent record in the begginning so you could not here him recording it. you should react to dice eliminations round it will be your style you like

The beatbox battles I've seen in the past. blows these dudes away in my opinion. No machines just vocal beat geniuses. These are like DJs to me. Didnt sound good at all. Hard pass
