I don't really like historical drama, cause it tends to get boring, but Mr Queen is a masterpiece, in fact I also finished watching this drama in 2 days.
@@ruriva4931 the story aren't solely about Bonghwan's journey to the past. But also based on Soyong and Choeljong's love story. The MC (main character) are the these three. Not just BH and Cj, but soyong too. The ending maybe feels like a bittersweet ending, but it's fair for everyone. Also, soyong have a right to her own body. So thinking that she's a fake one it's weird.

Well their feelings toward the ending are valid but saying that "it should have been like this or that" and people who have been saying like the ending was disappointing to the point that some theories don't even make sense anymore it was clearly shown in the show that her soul was still in her body. people just denying that fact 😪 aigoo. Mr. Queen is my first kdrama after years of not watching, and I'm so glad that it is! The story is simple yet engaging, the political drama is still intriguing despite being balanced by comedic scenes. Shin Hye Sun is such a force of an actor. And Kim Jung Hyun is on par with her. In fact, if any other actors replace either, the performances won't be as memorable as them. I wish I can forget the plot of this series so I can start watching all over again.
King got schooled by savage Queen a.k.a Bong Hwan. His feeling for her starting to grow even deeper but he's in denial because she's from Andong Kim clan. Good drama.
@@khushbookaul9959 It was super funny the first time I watched it, just cracked me up 9 ways to sunday! It dragged a bit towards the last 1/3 of the series and I didn't care for their historical ending cause I felt it didn't really make sense, but I liked the modern world meeting part.
My #1 fav scene is this one #2 is when King ask Quesn if he heard what they talk about in the bar #3 Alliance scene #4 .. Kill the rumor ( rumor abt not making love) #5.. Bed scene #6 Kissing at Kings father inlaws House and many more
One of my favorite lines was when the queen made the king speechless from the time that he made her drink some wine that could make them tell the truth and that she said something along the lines of "you're targeting me because I'm weak etc."😅I couldn't remember the exact lines but it was like that and that made the king woke up.

He was half expecting her to approach with some kind of fake sweetness to get some advantage or to impress him. Then only to find that not only did she risk herself to save her rival when she was offered her head on a platter, but simply doesn't give a shit for whatever he might think about it. Pivotal scene in making him reevaluate and realise that he doesn't have the foggiest idea about whatever might be motivating her.
