I wear rings because I'm constantly fidgeting and for the past year in high school I've gotten pretty skilled at gryphon rolling them across my fingers and other stuff. The're just fun and they look cool which is also a plus.
I suggest getting this fidget toy called “fingears”. They’re basically magnetic rings and are super fun i use them literally all the time. Just make sure if you do get them that you get the right size because mine are too big.
One of my friends recently recommended me wearing rings and suggested a website, found a ring that has a rotating middle part. My fidgeting is really bad, usually I pick my skin or bite my lips but I'm going to try wearing a ring like that, see if that can replace my bad fidgeting habits.
This was actually very helpful for someone like me who is thinking about wearing rings for the first time. You didnt just boost our confidence but gave good advice covering pros and cons. Thx man! Seems like you have helpful content in general. I subbed :D
I have had a ring since I was 13, never really thought too much about it or what people thought as I was young. So wearing rings with confidence is not a problem. I wear anywhere from 1 to 2 on average up to 4. And my original ring was given to me from my father, my second I made myself, 3rd is a matching ring I got with friends in spain on a trip and last is a custom one of a kind emerald ring.
I have 2 one on each hand they're very minimalist but at a second glance they have tons of little details one of them was a mark of a very large change in my life, the second is engraved with "24/7 til we're 6ft" I w used to be super depressed and felt like giving up but here I am thriving living my best life.
I collect a lot of rings, and I've been wearing them for years just because I like the look of them. At first, I only wore rings without gems, but I've been getting more and more rings with gems in the last year since I've started developing an attraction to them. For me, I normally wear only one ring on my right pointer finger, and most rings that I wear are around 8mm wide. I like that width the best, but I do have a few wider and a few thinner ones, but I never go below 6mm. As for the metal type, I stick almost exclusively to silver and white gold. I have very white skin, blue eyes, and dark hair, so those colors just match the best. I have some yellow gold pieces too, but they hardly get worn because they don't match anything I wear or my skintone.
I'm getting a ring for my boyfriend for our anniversary. After he got me one he mentioned he doesn't have any and asked if I thought he could pull off a ring. I wanted to learn about rings so I'm watching a lot of channels targeted at young men and this ones my favorite so far. Most of these video's are cringe or dude bro-y but this guy seems pleasant and he is easy to listen to!
thats funny ive been wearing this combo for a long time without realizing i have a wedding band style ring im not married tho its for style since its brushed steel and just looks so clean. keep on my right hand to avoid confusion.

The most I wear at a time is 7 rings, 5 silver, 2 black and one silver, gold and sapphire. It’s not a try hard thing, they’ve either been passed down, gifted or purchased by me. I love them, they look great and it doesn’t look too much, although a few are chunky I find that it balances the hands out.. it depends on the style of rings you wear in my opinion if you wanted to wear multiple 🤷🏻♂️

I guess I’m breaking a lot of the rules. I wear 5 rings, non-matching colors and I wear them everywhere regardless of the occasion. In order from left to right my rings go silver and green Celtic ring (left pinky), a silver miraculous medal ring (left index), black with gold symbols (left thumb), black with silver writing (right index) and then finally gold with black border (right ring). The only rules I follow is that they all have significant meaning in my life and I wear them with great confidence.
As someone who is just starting out on wearing rings, I got a minimal stainless steel band with nothing on it. I got one for my thumb and pinky, and then because it was buy 2 free 1 I have an extra polished pinky ring while the other two are matte. The matte rings are thicker than the polished one, or is it wider? When laid flat they are taller than the polished steel ring. I want to ask if the pinky ring specifically is right to be just a solid steel band instead of a signet. I've been looking everywhere for a video on it and can't find anything about it, and I always see channels say "wear a signet ring on your pinky" but I don't like the look of signets and I want to keep it minimal but also because rockers love their band rings I wanna try it out. My question: Can the pinky ring be a non signet ring? And can I wear a matching thumb ring or should it just be one ring or the other? Note that my right thumb is bent weird because I was born with a sixth finger that was removed surgically. Thank you!😊 Additional question- Can I match matte and polished metal rings? As I said I have two matte (non polished) rings and one polished shiny ring, can I mix and match them?
Great video, practical, intelligent, and thoughtful. Good presentation as well. I typically wear two rings at a time. For my middle finger I choose between a nice cabochon ring, black band, spoon ring, purple heart wood band, or jaguar carved from Tiger's eye. On my little finger I almost always wear a Japanese spoon ring with silver filigree with black background. There have been times I felt like a try hard or didn't want them to be noticed but I think for the most part I communicate rebellion, freedom, and confidence.
Actually learning something I did not know about the meaning of each finger. Particularly, because when I usually wear ring/s I will place them on my pointer finger/s; I’m someone who empathizes respect and authority. Very interesting.
I started wearing a ring on my middle finger about a year ago, last week i bought 2 more so im rocking 3. One on my left middle, one on the right middle and one on the right index, personally I think this looks best on me. I dont really have a reason or meaning behind it, I just think they look nice and its fun!
I wear a crown ring on my left middle finger. The middle for me represents myself as a middle central power of authority that guides the people around me to greatness.
I feel like an ass when I’m out lol i have 3 rings 2 biggish ones and a wedding band but they are all diamond then I have 5 chains 2 pendants a watch and 3 bracelets. Some days I go Subtle and others I’ll look like as you would say a “try hard” 😭😭 but I love it man I love the way jewelry looks especially a lot blended nicely together
I always put a ring on my hand I like a plain simple ring and i have one problem that is when going to school the ring should not bring so that time except all the time i wear rings
I bought a ring only to show to my future kids the jewelry I own when I was a teen than pass it down to them just how my dad still has his jewelry when he was younger. Edit: and I guess also because it looks nice lol
I bought my first ring just because I wanted to see how it would look so I just went with fairly cheap one, in case I didn't like it. But I ended up loving it so now I have 5 I wear 3 on my right hand and two on my left. My reasoning is just because I like wearing them and how they look. Also I like to try and stand out. But to be honest I don't have any real meaning behind wearing them other than I simply like them.

Hey thanks! This helped me out a lot on which finger I was supposed to put my family ring. I didn’t want to put it on the wrong one since I didn’t know so thanks.😌
I need help,I want to wear a silver/silver and gold watch on my left hand and I will get a gold ring which I want to wear on my right hand,I’m very confused as to which finger it should go on,the middle finger or the ring finger?
I bought a massive skull ring that only fits on my thumb. I also wear a slightly large ring on my middle finger because the skull ring on my thumb by itself looks kind of weird
When you said that you should match the colors of the rings. I kind of disagree with that statement. I think it’s a good contrast and stands out more when they mismatch. Also, I wear 5 rings on each finger minus my thumbs.
I've been wearing my ring since high school, I bought it after I got my first bigger paycheck after being a paperboy. I lost my ring for like a good two years and when we moved away I figured it be obvious I'd never see it again but one of my stepmothers grandkids found it outside in the backyard of are new home which doesnt make sense cause I lost it at my old home 2 years prior...
Nah bro one of your family members stole it and they either ended up losing it too or chucked it near you so you could have it without you finding out they stole it.
Honestly I plan on getting a ring with family crest gonna make 1 with me and my parents then we all will get gold rings with it. We won't get the exact same crest in each but very similar we want to have something unique for all of us. Me and my mother can only wear gold allergic to other metals although we all prefer gold regardless.
@@YourAverageGent thanks. Yeah actually my family is descendent of nobility and royalty the Pomeroy family is the 1 I know the most about though so I plan on using part of their crest in mine. The family originally came from France and were nobles but they moved to England because they were friends with the king he gave them land I believe 1 of them married one of his children so I might somewhat be related to the queen lol not enough that it matters sadly 😂 sorry for long comment I just like talking about history
I’ve always liked rings. I’m wearing 2 plain silver bands. One is thicker, & one is more thin. I wear one on my ring finger, and the other one on my index finger. I love them. Also wear a silver chain (no pendant) and a silver bracelet on my left wrist.
I’m married so I always have a groove ring on my left ring finger. My gma gave me a gold ring her husband used to wear before he passed and I had no idea what finger to wear it. This helped a lot, thanks! PS: I only plan on wearing it when I dress up and wear my gold wedding band
I don’t like to wear bracelets so I wear rings. If the ring is thin, I stack them (maybe 2 or 3 rings) on 1 of the fingers. (Example like wearing them on left 3 fingers & right 2 fingers.)
thank you this helped me a lot with the choice of rings. Although I like that punk style, different rings of different colors but that's just my opinion :)
@@YourAverageGent precisely , I think it's both trendy and classic dressings not only in formals but also casual. I've seen some of your black outfit thumbnails , mann! You look great 👍
wearing several rings also helps to attract girls 😂 but i only wear 3 (2 on my left hand "middle finger" and "ring finger" and 1 on my right hand in "ring finger") and i prefer stainless steel than sterling silver (very durable, lighter, can lasts longer and especially more cheaper 😋)
I have a pretty silver dolphin ring that my dad bought for my mom when they were young. Mom gave it to me I always wear it on my right hand. One day someone saw my ring asked me if I was married. But... I was fifteen :D
Uff you're going for a elegance look or gentlemen's look, whatever you want to called it; then it's going to be on pinkie finger or ring finger or both. If you're going for a street style look, then index finger alone, or any other finger. Just avoid the thumb and middle finger.
That's cool, and something I've never thought about. The ring finger on the left hand symbolizes you are married. That is well known information. But what about all the other fingers. They must have meaning also. Thanks for the video.
I feel as though 4-5 rings is the play. On the left hand a ring for the index finger and ring finger for the wedding ring if married. On the right a ring for the thumb, middle finger, and intaglio for the pinky. No rings on fingers directly next to each other. That is admittedly probably too much while at work. I'm less confident about having a mixed metal ring among them, or wearing more than one stone adorned ring when the stones are of different colors.
Left hand is the spiritual hand. I wear my 3 gold rings on it(one with my father's initials, one with a russian symbol for familly and one on my index finger), and on my right hand I keep 2 metal rings just for the symetry
I have a question... I'm a member of a community and I have a high status among them. I'm looking to get a signet ring and a "Ring of Authority" to show it. I know the index finger is for the ring of authority, but is it proper to wear the signet ring on the ring ringer instead of the pinky finger if on the same hand?
What is your Favourite RING Tip let me know in the comments! :)

I wear 4 rings and it's really match to me. 3 in my right index, middle, and ring finger. And 1 in my left ring finger.
Rock on man!💪
I like your watch . What brand it is ?
It’s the Seiko SKX007😎💪
Honestly I plan on getting a ring with family crest gonna make 1 with me and my parents then we all will get gold rings with it. We won't get the exact same crest in each but very similar we want to have something unique for all of us. Me and my mother can only wear gold allergic to other metals although we all prefer gold regardless.
Sounds like a great idea!💯💯
@@YourAverageGent thanks. Yeah actually my family is descendent of nobility and royalty the Pomeroy family is the 1 I know the most about though so I plan on using part of their crest in mine. The family originally came from France and were nobles but they moved to England because they were friends with the king he gave them land I believe 1 of them married one of his children so I might somewhat be related to the queen lol not enough that it matters sadly 😂 sorry for long comment I just like talking about history
Wow that sounds like a really cool story! Adds another layer of depth to the meaning of the ring haha😎💪
where should you get rings to start, i have really skinny fingers
You can easily find them on Amazon💪
Amazing Personality homie
Thank you homie!😎
I’ve always liked rings. I’m wearing 2 plain silver bands. One is thicker, & one is more thin. I wear one on my ring finger, and the other one on my index finger. I love them. Also wear a silver chain (no pendant) and a silver bracelet on my left wrist.
😎💪
The rings i bought came in a bundle of 5. I paid for all, so im gonna use em all.
You rock it man!💪
H&M may I ask?
I’m married so I always have a groove ring on my left ring finger. My gma gave me a gold ring her husband used to wear before he passed and I had no idea what finger to wear it. This helped a lot, thanks!
PS: I only plan on wearing it when I dress up and wear my gold wedding band
Nice man! Im glad you found this helpful!☺️💪
“More then 4 you’re just pushing it”
Me watching this video with 17 rings: 👁👄👁
It’s awesome to have many rings but less is more when it comes to how many you wear each time!😎🤙
I had rings with spikes,is that good?
Sounds badass to be!💪
Thanos already knew the meaning of these😂😂
Hahaha good one!😎💪
I don’t like to wear bracelets so I wear rings. If the ring is thin, I stack them (maybe 2 or 3 rings) on 1 of the fingers. (Example like wearing them on left 3 fingers & right 2 fingers.)
😎💪
I just want a ring or two to fiddle with so I'm not constantly tapping on desks or messing with other things
Sounds good bro!💪
On which hand finger elephant tail hair ring shld be wear?
thank you this helped me a lot with the choice of rings. Although I like that punk style, different rings of different colors but that's just my opinion :)
I’m glad you found this helpful bro!😎💪
whered u buy ur index finger ring i like it
Got them from Amazon!💪
@@YourAverageGent can u send me link? what do i search? im from the philippines
Make a video on black on black dressing .pls
Yo Rathod! Do you mean how to wear all black?
@@YourAverageGent precisely , I think it's both trendy and classic dressings not only in formals but also casual.
I've seen some of your black outfit thumbnails , mann! You look great 👍
@@rathodmohan804 Thanks man! Sounds like a good idea haha. I will keep in mind and stay tuned! 💪
Can I wear ring on thumb...will it look good..plz tell me😇
I wouldn’t wear it on thumb haha💪
"YOU ARE A LUCKY MAN... I hope"
HAHAHAHAHAHA
😎💪
Is black + silver color combos ok? I got 1 black 1 silver ring and im thinking of putting 1 on each hand.
wearing several rings also helps to attract girls 😂 but i only wear 3 (2 on my left hand "middle finger" and "ring finger" and 1 on my right hand in "ring finger") and i prefer stainless steel than sterling silver (very durable, lighter, can lasts longer and especially more cheaper 😋)
Nice one bro! That’s right😎💪
@@YourAverageGent True, True 👌
What does a ring on the middle finger stand for please?
It’s stands for balance😎💪
I have a pretty silver dolphin ring that my dad bought for my mom when they were young. Mom gave it to me I always wear it on my right hand. One day someone saw my ring asked me if I was married. But...
I was fifteen :D
Nice bro!😎💪
One time in 4th grade my teacher had a ring in her toe know anything about that?
No idea bro😮
You don't need a story to wear rings, like wtf
😎💪
I just love the energy you have. Your ways are hilarious in the best possible way xD
Thank you brother!😎🙌
Thank you so much 🙆🏽 that was so helpful ❤️
I’m glad you found this helpful man! 😎💪
if you don’t mind what is ur ring sizes on ur index finger next to ur pinky?!
My index finger ring size is 9💪
Does being a Tolkien fan count as a reason?
Definitely bro a great conversation starter💪
Love the video man keep it up 🙌🏻
Idk ab u but one ring on the pinky looks pretty cool on me
You rock on man!🔥
Where can i get that stainless steel ring ?
Uff you're going for a elegance look or gentlemen's look, whatever you want to called it; then it's going to be on pinkie finger or ring finger or both. If you're going for a street style look, then index finger alone, or any other finger. Just avoid the thumb and middle finger.
😎💪
What watch are you wearing? Its nice
On my left hand I have my wedding band, on my right i guess I call it the end as I am a widower, its a silver nugget that represents the ground.
Aw :(
Rock on! 💪
wht do u guys say abt full finger armoured rings?
When you got ring on a thumb i dont care how wealthy you are, you simply dont exist for me 😄
Haha nice one bro! 😂
Where do I buy rings in Georgia? I'm a tan guy so should I stick to black or silver to avoid looking like a Persian from 300?
I got my rings on Amazon here!

That's cool, and something I've never thought about. The ring finger on the left hand symbolizes you are married. That is well known information. But what about all the other fingers. They must have meaning also. Thanks for the video.
No problem! I'm glad you found this video helpful! 😎
“You my friend is a lucky man”😭😭😭 i’m so alone
Being alone doesn’t have to be lonely bro!😎💪
Fantastic video as ever. The video content is repleted with essential information.
Left hand is the spiritual hand. I wear my 3 gold rings on it(one with my father's initials, one with a russian symbol for familly and one on my index finger), and on my right hand I keep 2 metal rings just for the symetry
😎💪
I wear ones on each finger because I have OCD 😐
I wear certain ones depending on the occasion.
😎💪
Tip if you wanna wear on your left index stack a medium and a small one. No one will think you are married if you wear multiple
Sounds like a great tip! 😎💪
Index finger isn’t wear you’d wear a wedding ring anyways, that would be the ring finger…..
Love the video as always. Really solid advice and presentation, keep going!
Thanks Janosch! I appreciate your support! 💪💪
