Steamdeck is a handheld pc, it's the first handheld pc. You can do coding , video editing (da vinci) , browsing etc. Trackpad for handhelds is a must imo. And I think feel is better in steamdeck
Been using rog ally (the white one) since last 1 year. Its very good! In fact i can say it feels like dream come true to play AAA titles on handheld! Yes battery is the issue bt most of the time i plug it in n play! I also have gaming laptop lenovo loq 2024 (i7 14700HX + rtx 4060) although laptop can play even more games n play them at higher fps it throttles when heated (i don’t know if this is the issue in my laptop or loq laptops) on the other hand rog ally does not! I have played 2-3 hours continuously still the performance was same! N u can play even without the charger plugged in (my ally lasts only an hour or so) only con is battery life!
Ally X does seem to be the best handheld in the market till now. I'm still gonna wait for Microsoft to release their handheld along with windows optimised for handhelds. That one could push this segment further towards perfection
