I wish more global kpop fans listen to AKMU. Their popularity in global community should be much higher based on many hits they make. They even titled as Digital Monster, because every releases they made are organically charting very high on music streaming platforms
All the songs they sang were written and composed by Chanhyuk. Chanhyuk is a genius songwriter, Suhyun is a vocal genius. I love this genius sibling❤

I just love AKMU. Their discography stretches far beyond what is shown here. They have bops like crescendo, give love, artificial grass to amazing ballads such as will last forever, melted, time and fallen leaves(absolutely love this piece). Just can't miss with this team.
I have read from the past that they didn't have many promotions for DINOSAUR because Chanhyuk or Suhyun says that the whistle-like might abuse Suhyun's voice if will be performed consecutively. But they do have lots of live , make sure to check it!
AKMU makes good songs. Dinosaur is of my favorite. Listening to it is like an escape to a stressfull adulthood.

The surprising fact is they are 10th anniversary duo even they are still 24 27 years old and made those songs all by themselves (actually brother did).

Melt - AKMU Is the song that I really like it. MV, lyrics and their voice. Wonderful~
All the songs from their album “Next episode “ are gems, plus all the songs have an mv. Hope you can react to them all
Su-hyun has a world class voice. If she had studied opera, she could have been a success. Her warm, full, emotional, tones in that upper register is as good as I've ever heard. Chan-hyuk has an amazing voice as well, and their harmonies are perfect.
As far as recommendations, to give you broad view of their music, I'd suggest "How People Move" from their early years (find the lyrics or a video with subtitles), and then either "The Happening" (where their vocals really shine) or "Hey Kid Close Your Eyes" if you want to be blown away by lyrical content (and the video is...well). A lot of people will recommend "Nakka", but I feel like that should be a later reaction since it's better heard once you have a broader understanding of their overall talent - it's great, and it has IU, and that can't be bad - but, to me it's not as representative, if you get my drift.
Luv Lee is a kind of continuation of two songs they did early on. 200% was one of them, but they told a continuing story that was really cute. They didn't get into the more serious stuff until later. Their sibling energy has been talked about quite a bit in a positive manner - they're just cute together. And, yeah, Su-hyun can hit all of those notes live.

He's a metalhead. His channel started out reacting to a very specific metal genre - something core. Melted is a very good song, and it seems you really like it, but it's deep and depressing (until the end) and not a great representation of ALL of their work. I recommended what I did because I hope that he can become a big fan of AKMU, and, if he does, he'll get to Melted. And, I never insist, I suggest. And, if he does something different, that's fine, it's his choice, just like it's mine to suggest what I did. Just be happy that he's getting to AKMU, and like me be pleased with whatever he chooses to react to. Have a good night and be well.

I really recommend listening "Chantey"!! Chantey its b-side, so many people ignore it.. plese don't do that! this is an angelic song that Chanhyuk wrote while serving in the Marines. a song that should be a consolation. at least listen to her behind the camera. you will feel so many emotions..🥺

When your brother a genius composer n writter and you're the vocal genius and they become AKMU
The song Nakka, the one before Love Lee is a collaboration with IU. They performed it live on her show Palette. they also have a story about the last song Suhyun sang. and Suhyun teamed up with Lee Hi to become the group Hi Suhyun and released the song I'm Different featuring the before mentioned Bobby before Ikon debuted.
In an interview they said they've lived in Mongolia for few years when they were kids because of their father job so maybe the story behind dinosaur is real
U need to check their "Next Episode Album" it is special colaboration album & all the songs have an MV Nakka feat IU is one of them (the one u said u like cuz its have retro vibes). Every songs in the album just uniqe & show how Akmu specially Chanhyuk style on songs start to change at that times
And "sailing album". It's also my favorite album
