To be fair mate the players you've named weren't anywhere near the finished article when they were signed, it's not like they were marquee, 'galactico' types you're making them out to be. Drogba was playing in the second or third tier of French football in his mid 20s, Cech was a nobody and Kante went for Leicester's best to the best sitting midfielder in the world. These players owe their success to the managers that signed them, not themselves, not initially anyway.
This match is my breaking point. We are to inconsistent to get Europe. Conference league is a miracle much less top 4. This team can't win 2 matches in a row

For the first time the entire season, I felt we were outplayed. They owned us😭 I don't know what happened after the latest internationals, but we've been acting clueless on the pitch. Granted, the resting period between the games has greatly shortened and as a team , maybe more stamina needs to be developed for this young team but yes, yesterday was bad. And I haven't felt that the entire season even when we lost, we always played with fire and we're the better team. Not yesterday. I hurt over the missed chances. Why do we continue to start Jackson when he can't score when it counts (I'm not even this kind of critic but this game meant a lot and I'm so mad). Enzo needs to be rested, he's tired and it shows. Our defence except for Thiago, is just not good, I'm sorry. We really missed Gallagher. Anyway, I needed to rant. Chelsea is still that team but insanity is repeating what isn't working and expecting it to work. I think Cole Palmer will ended up playing as striker or center forward as his finishing and vision is top class. Only a world class player can score that kind of goal just passing in into the net on the blind side.
If Palmer successfully become a center forward then he is the 2nd player successfully converted from attacking midfielder to striker by Pochettino after Harry Kane and i hope Palmer will become the complete version of Harry Kane.

Chelsea players play as if they are drunk, they can’t even give a normal pass, but often just keep the ball at their feet. Fernandez is unable to give a sharp pass or shoot at goal normally - a complete bottom. The worst player of the match, and of the team as a whole, failed the entire middle of the field and sowed uncertainty in his partners. I haven't scored from two meters yet. More or less, Mudryk, Jackson, Palmer, and Callville played today.

At this point it feels like, we're building a team which will give us maybe couple of domestic cups, recurring top 4 spots over 4-5 seasons but no major trophy or even a League title. This is not the Chelsea I've known since 2010. Every season we've fought for League title and winning CL.

who ever watched the match live, know the loss was just around the corner the way we were playing. we were not even able to penetrate through there defense let alone have a shot at their goal, and on the other hand Man always maintained pressure man-to-man throughout the game, deserved to win.

They give the ball away too easily, no desire to win the ball back, caicedo always passing it back to the defenders, no link up between attackers, taking too much time on the ball and ulitmately messing it up, and unnecessary diving for absolutely no reason.
