The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) returns for an exciting second season after breaking first-day streaming records on Showmax Nigeria.
RHOLagos Season 1 followed the opulent lives of six glamorous Lagos women: businesswoman Carolyna Hutchings, influencer Laura Ikeji-Kanu, lawyer and luxury hair brand owner Chioma Ikokwu, celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani-Adebayo, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and PR expert Mariam Timmer as they dealt with personality clashes while navigating their businesses and personal lives.
Real housewives of Lagos Season 2 sees the return of Chioma, Laura, Iyabo, Mariam, and Toyin, and the introduction of two brand new cast members - fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and former model and socialite Faith Morey. Real Housewives of Lagos Season 2 Episode 1 gives an introduction to the 2 new cast members and how they try to understudy the women of the group as well as deal with the unnecessary antagonism that's already brewing towards them from Mariam and Iyabo Ojo.

Dr Rommel is such a pick me, felt embarrassed on his behalf,
He had a lot to say about her,but wanted to start gaslighting her, I was expecting him to let us know what happened between them but he couldn’t even say anything, talking about the ladies lol🤣🤣what a shame.
Mariam just keeps fooling herself, she would have had a lovely storyline if she had just stuck to her baby thing.

Chioma keeps falling my hand this season
From what I have observed, this is what got from Faith and Dr rommel relationship.
1. Faith and Dr rommel got introduced by a common party ( her manager) who also manages Dr rommel or gets certain connections for him. I believe being aware that she was approached to be part of the show , he saw it as an opportunity to introduce Dr Rommel to a larger audience.
2. The relationship started just for filming sake, unfortunately Dr rommel is friends with reality stars like SPICE and other Love and Hiphop stars , probably got the idea to take the route he has taken so that a next season spot can be guaranteed.
3. The major problem is Faith and Dr Rommel took a different route , I believe they never had the time to create a good storyline about how they meet and get basic information about one another , especially if people questions certain aspects of their life. Hence why Dr Rommel makes up stories about Faith to show he really knows her. Faith decided to be her real self which I think isn't what Dr Rommel expected. I think he thought she was gonna bring Razz energy just to guarantee her spot for next season but realised she wasn't about that life. Thats why when he was talking about about the other ladies he kept pressing Faith to say negative things about the other ladies. I am sure after he realised that Faith wasn't liked he decided to be against her.
4. Dr Rommel couldn't defend himself at the table because that will expose that he doesn't really know her and blow the story line he had created for himself. Thereby exposing he is a LIAR.
Faith couldn't go to deep because that will mean also exposing her manager and reveal her friendship with Dr Rommel is scripted for the show. lol
The funny thing is these women will be ashamed to find out Faith always defend and compliment them at their back. They’re the ones having issues with her but she doesn’t bad mouth them at all. CLASS!!!!!!

Chioma has a beautiful heart. The problem is that she is loyal so in an effort to stay loyal, she is betraying her true self. I love her and hope this show does not negatively impact her image because she is a sweetheart

The games seemed fun and it was refreshing to see the ladies getting along especially Iyabo helping Faith, and Toyin helping helping Laura. Chioma, Mariam and Tania did not surprise me at all, they acted exactly how I expected.
I respect the fact that Faith was honest from the start about her "friendship" or acquaintanceship so to speak. When she met him at some clinic (episode 1 or 2), she clearly said she was meeting him for the first time and that they had connected on IG. However, Dr. Rommel being the one chasing clout was the one propagating this "friendship" narrative. It was interesting how he quickly started backpedaling regarding how he talked about/treated Faith at the resort. Good thing Tania and Chioma caught that. Interesting thing is Tania seemed disappointed that he was not bashing Faith in that moment as she was ready to jump/join in on the bashing 😂😂😂. Anyway, good for Chioma to advise him to talk to Faith. Chioma still defending Mariam is ridiculous and unfathomable. Chioma has already made up her mind or is taking on other people's (😉) opinion about Faith. Glory you are absolutely right that Chioma still has some good in her.
It is important to understand that Dr. Rommel is a family medicine physician as I may have mentioned in other comments, licensed in Georgia, USA. He is not certified as a plastic surgeon or aesthetic doctor/surgeon, hence cannot perform such procedures that will be invasive such as plastic surgery etc. However he can administer botox as a licensed physician.
So I see why Faith is being careful and maybe someone connected him and Faith as a brand ambassador so to speak regarding the botox clinic. It is very common for people to use your information without your permission. She did not allow him to use it, he went ahead and used it without them concluding the contract. I totally get it and her reaction.
My heart goes out to all women dealing with infertility. I am with you on this one, and I can't help but wonder that if this is how erratic Mariam acts without the hormone treatments for egg retrieval, then imagine how she will be with the treatments 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. One thing I noticed is that Mariam mentioned that her husband had been away for a very long time. This made me wonder if her actions have been misplaced frustrations (🤔), and the main issue is how she feels about her husband being away this long, and likely lack of s**. If she had some, trust me, she will feel refreshed and less bothered about some of the issues in past episodes.
Dr. Rommel and Faith meeting was everything. I am happy Faith was assertive and had receipts. First Dr. Rommel did not even start with how he found himself at the resort, the situation between them, but rather he wanted to know what happened the day before he got there. The nerve of him. So as you can see, their connection is that Dr. Rommel is using Faith's manager of 10 years, and the manager is probably the one pushing for this "friendship" because it will certainly benefit his new client who is Dr. Rommel. Dr. Rommel shouting "Fake" and chasing behind Faith reminded me of your BBNaija Dictionary video 😂😂😂😂😂.
Iyabo will side with whoever is against Faith at this point. And like you said, also anyone who will kiss her a**. Nothing surprises me anymore.

The call to Iyabo was ridiculous and I loved Faith's reaction. I am so glad Toyin called out Dr. Rommel. I knew he was desperate for attention but this was a new level. I have said this before. I strongly believe his goal has always been to get in contact with Iyabo and Chioma. Mind you they have more presence in Naija, Faith herself was still gaining presence in Naija, so how could she be his guide. It will be like blind leading the blind. They both are trying to navigate the new social scene. I feel like he has achieved his goal and now is discarding his "friend" Faith.
I won't even comment on Mariam because Toyin's description was everything 😂😂😂😂😂😅😅

Very true! They belonged to the same management so Faith trusted that her entanglement with Dr R will be good for business but unfortunately Dr R was desperate for more so had to throw Faith under the bus in that process

Iyabo is trying to get to know faith well but she want faith to be the one that will submit to her. She did d same thing to Chioma in season 1. She like to be d Queen mother that knows everyone but faith is not someone that will submit herself under iyabo like Chioma. Chioma and Laura was my fav season 1. This season I dont know what Chioma is doing she is following iyabo like someone that don't have mind of her own anymore. This season Laura is still my fav. Gloria, you are right in your analysis. Mariam and Iyabo soft act completely put me off. I didn't feel any caring emotions for them and Chioma is gradually making me loose more interest in her.
I think that chioma doesn’t want to have a friend fallout again on the show. That way it doesn’t look like she was the problem with the carolyn situation. Faith properly tolerated Dr Rommel using her face because they shared a manager which she trusted. And it looks like she stopped it cause we really didn’t see her face being used. I’m guessing the deal was to introduce his business through the show but he then over did it with the gossiping and all. Moreover if there was more, dr rommel will spill during the dairy sessions or when they clash. Remember she mentioned the face thing during the clash.

This season I am here for Toyin and Faith, the rest they are annoying and trying too hard. Like Tania and Mariam deserve to be sacked, Iyabo playing the villain and Chioma her sidekick, Laura is yeah just there being cute.

All I’ve come to understand even from season one is that the production team actually orchestrates and instructs these women who to meet and wen to meet cos going back to episode one wen faith met dr Rommel, it shows that the meeting between them was something they were told to do
