Those "sheep hammocks" are a real game changer! Thanks to Kevin and Sarah being guests on your show, I've found someone new & interesting to follow. From this senior, city slicker Canadian........ I Luv my Homesteader bothers & sisters south of our boarder. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. I've learned so much from you all.
Thanks for the comment! I'm not sure the sheep "enjoyed" their spa day, but it was absolutely necessary! AND, the chairs made it much easier on our backs!
I am so excited to learn about your channel and watching this journey. So happy to meet Rich and Shelly and their community!!! Thanks also to Kevin and Sarah for this opportunity to meet new friends and watch this additional garden tutorial. ~Sharon from Florida

Hello Air2Ground Farm, we are from Living Traditions Homestead. Glade to meet you, we are looking forward to fun and educational videos together, God Bless. I impress how those sheep follow you so easily.
Hi I’m a new sub, over from living traditions homestead. Love their channel and I’m sure I’ll love your channel as well. I’m a homestead wanna be living in the city in Toronto, Ontario, Canada ❤️🥰🙏🏻🇨🇦🍁
Wow, that's a lot of sheep! Bet you have some interesting stories from those days! The rocky hills would definitely help out with the hoof trimming/filing! Thank you for sharing your experience!--Shelley
TERRIFIC!!! I'm a new subscriber today, having come over from Kevin and Sarah's channel (Living Traditions Homestead). It seems like your two families have a great deal in common. For sure, a group of four super nice people. I grew up on a Jersey farm in Starkville, MS (Home of MS State University). My dad had a career as Extension Dairyman for the MS Cooperative Extension Service, then his later years pre-retirement, he was the only "Official Classifier" for the American Jersey Cattle Club, so he traveled throughout the US, going to Jersey farms and, essentially, judging their animals. The classification rating of each cow helped elevate the quality of the cattle, especially for breeding and sale purposes. So, watching y'all among the sheep today brought back so many memories. Best wishes for a solid future in farming! [By the way, I am a veteran, as well. MS National Guard - 223rd Engineering Battalion, so I have a deep love for our country and the service personnel who do such a terrific job of providing defense for us all.] ~~ Dr. Larry S. Anderson • Tupelo, MS (birthplace of Elvis)
Thank you so much for your kind words and for subscribing! It's wonderful to hear about your background in farming and your service in the National Guard--thank you for your service. We appreciate your support!!--Shelley😁
Your video today was so cool. Having Kevin and Sara on your channel was such a surprise. They are such a great couple and I watch their channel all the time. I'm glad I have found your channel. I've learned more about the Keto way of life
Thank you for those very encouraging words! We try very hard to edit videos well and it really helps to hear kind words like your comment! Thanks again! --Rich
Yes! Great video! Because of Sarah and Kevin I watched this! Thoroughly enjoyed it!! We are planning on having sheep too, and this was very educational! So far we only had two neutered sheep for meat but intend to get younger ones this spring/summer to breed for future supplies!
Almost looks like a "sheep spa" assembly line! What a great set up! Thank you for sharing your ideas!!! Also new to your channel and subscribed! Blessings on your day Kiddos!🌻🐛Carolyn in Ohio 🌿
Great content. We've considered hair sheep for our Texas homestead, the info was helpful. Not so wild about the background music. Otherwise, great video!
Good video. I thought you were using a whistle to call the sheep until I realized it was the background music. Nice editing that in the video. Have watched Kevin and Sarah for years.
Thank you for sharing your experience with your Nigerian dwarf goats. It's wonderful to hear they have been healthy without vaccinations. Grateful for the blessings!

WHAT AN AWESOME VIDEO. THIS WAS VERY INTERESTING. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SHEEP GET THEIR NAILS TRIMMED. I THOUGHT YOU HAD A PERSON WHO DOES THEIR NAILS. VERY INTERESTING.
Thanks for tuning in! Sheep nail care is quite the surprise, right? We could pay someone to come and do their feet, but that just creates more expense. Trying to keep the costs down as much as possible😁
What a nice video, really enjoyed seeing y'all work together. I worked on a ranch in Texas and learned to band the little rams. And as a bonus was given a Wether to butcher. It was my first time eating lamb, and it was good. The other day I made lamb/chicken burgers(half lamb and half chicken breast) seasoned and was pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out. My husband said you could not tell it was lamb! Would love to drive down from MN some day to farmers market and meet all y'all. We are military family as well. God bless!🥰
Hey there! Your cooking adventure sounds delicious! Drop by the farmers market in Ava, MO if you're ever down this way; we'd love to meet you!--Shelley
Awesome job Y’ll! Not the big operation that I watch on Sandy Brock’s YT channel but really nicely done. Sweet to have good friends that help make it so nice! God bless you all! Hope Linda is still recovering well?
Hey, thanks a ton for the shoutout! We're grateful for the support and Linda's getting there slowly but surely. Thank you for the continued prayers! We will being doing an update video with her as soon as she is ready! 😊

The sheep think I'm the shepherd, but really, they just like my snacks! 😄 We had a great time with friends! So, grateful for our growing community of "Insteaders"❤️
I know, right!! LOL!! Katahdin sheep are "hair" sheep. They have short generally straight wool that sheds naturally when the weather warms up. Thus, NO sheering is involved. They are perfect for raising for meat!
Enjoyed this so much, been following Kevin & Sarah for 4 years now 🫶 I’ve learned so much. I was hoping to see a cattle dog as a helper… lost my red healer 6 months ago, hoping to get another healer soon. Thank you for this 💯💯💯
Thank you for your kind words and support! Sorry to hear about your red healer, but I hope you find another furry companion soon. We have a group of Livestock Guardian Dogs, but no herding dogs. We love to watch them work, though!
We have a lot less sheep than you do. But I was curious. Your bottle maybe is a black sheep. Our bottle baby was a black sheep also. And the mother abandoned him, but kept the other one. I wonder if the mom‘s knew that they looked different? I’m just curious. Because it seems like your situation in my situation are the exact same.
Thank you for sharing your story! "Sheepster's" mom didn't abandon, and actually took care of her once she was old enough and it was warm enough to let her stay outside again. It was the dead of winter when she had her, and we didn't have the facilities for the situation. So, we brought the Sheepster in until the weather warmed up. Sometimes, sheep definitely get confused though! They are not the smartest creatures, LOL!--Shelley
IM THINKING ABOUT MOVING TO AVA. TO an old farm/ranch. Only ten acres. Im Older and I'm on my own. I know I CAN DO many things. Pasture chickens and layers . I can raise yearling beef I can raise a few sheep even a pig with babies. I have chickens and Rabbits. Just started Rabbits. I like them I really like ducks know how to raise grain, crops like clover , turnips, for the animals. buckwheat sorghum. What I don't know is the natural systems here. Timing this year the cicadas will be two kinds . I may get to see the raw bones of the land. I'd only start one or two animals at a time after building the infrastructure, but can I sell enough to keep the place I teach painting and do a resale shop. I bake can sew. Build things. Will it be enough with what's coming. I can rent out the shop and five acres until I'm ready to use them. I'm going to need helpers. Praying. I know the Pacific North West. I know the smell of the season change you know what I mean. Praying for wisdom, strength and courage. If we don't have enough land can we do what we need to do?.
Wow, your plans for the farm sound amazing! It's awesome that you have so many skills to bring to the table. Good luck with everything, and don't forget to enjoy the journey!
