We actually did think about that and brought it up to Jesse, but he suggested we just go with #4's because of how compact and hard the clay was. Hopefully it holds up. If not, there is another video for the future! :) ha
Congrats on getting some stone down, looks great! Looks like #4s or #5s maybe? Curious why no road felt if using small gravel? Or a larger base like #1s or #2s if no felt? Certainly not suggesting anything is wrong, just curious! Hope the small gravel doesn't dissappear into the clay/mud on ya!! Lastly, would not recommend a screen on the culvert. That will definitely cause it to clog more frequently Good luck!

@StaySlyh thanks! After talking with our contractor, he suggested using #4's just like he did here. He puts in a lot of driveways and log road landings in the area. The only area he seemed to be concerned with was the apron where we built up with fill. If we end up needing to come back in with some bigger base rock, we can, but hopefully it holds up ha! You probably should have put down breaker rock before the gravel. I made that mistake when I started building my driveway too.
