    For me, the ideas in th-cam.com/users/postUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

    INQUIRING MINDS: Video at the 6:58 (ish) mark ... You said there was "too much fire guard drywall." Since Fire Guard Drywall *also* reduces noise more effectively than ½” standard or lightweight drywall, isn't that what separates (or should separate) the 2 units? *Asking for a friend

    • @Thecrazyframer
      @Thecrazyframer  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes. That separation wall needs 5/8” fire guard drywall, but the drywall supplier will ship enough for it later.

      Lmao 5 years later and that house still has too much of an ugly modernist look to it.😂 It doesn't even fit in with the neighborhood 😂 I Like the style of the old 500 - 600sq ft single story houses surrounding it with basic 8/12 roof pitches much better. They just look crappy because they're run down and neglected and if I have to guess, that's what most likely previously stood in that lot before being bought by a developer and demolished for an ugly duplex.

Even having help things don’t go as planned and shit ends up time consuming just to see you do it by your self is extremely admiring and inspirational 🔨 📐

      Jesse5068 But some framers are the epitome of hard work and strong work ethic. This guys a champ, and very inspirational to trades workers anywhere!
      I’m 23 and only been framing a year and a half and I learn so much from his videos! He does very well
      By himself and must move so much around the site without a zoomboom or other employees, I haul ass on the site every day I bought a Fitbit to roughly see how much I would walk a day, some days I would hit 40,000-50,000 steps (which fit bit says is around 20-30km of walking. Just at work couldn’t imagine no crew or zoom boom!

Also if you're not considering building you're own homes, you should. Basically you just worked for someone else's business but I'd love to see you build your business... build your own rental properties. Sell every other one until you have an empire. Buy land now, build later, and rent later. Build yourself a retirement. Excellent work.

    • @HousesandCars
      @HousesandCars 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gsloup20 That seems reasonable and somewhat cheap. I'm thinking more about building a casita in my backyard... or at least having built. I would like to say that 8k is not much for a family if it takes 2 months for one person to build. It's a living. So that's why I say he should build one occasionally for himself. Maybe one a year??

    • @gsloup20
      @gsloup20 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HousesandCars I would guess that a casita might cost about the same as a 2 or 3 car detached garage. So maybe around $35k. Might be more expensive for a/c and plumbing ran as well. So maybe in the $40-50k range depending on who you hire, size, materials used, permits, and where you are building. These are all rough estimates.
